8 Additional functions
8.1 Automatic Super freezing
With automatic Super freezing, the
freezer compartment cools down to a
much lower temperature than in nor-
mal mode. This freezes food more
quickly.
The automatic Super freezing
switches on if you place fresh food in
the frozen food container that is
second from the bottom, starting
from the right-hand side.
If the automatic Super freezing is
switched on, lights up and in-
creased noises may occur.
After operation, the appliance
switches from automatic Super freez-
ing to normal operation.
Cancelling automatic Super
freezing

8.2 Manual Super freezing
With Super freezing, the freezer com-
partment cools as cold as possible.
Switch on Super freezing four to
sixhours before placing food weigh-
ing 2kg or more into the freezer
compartment.
In order to utilise the freezer capacity,
use Super freezing.

Note:When Super freezing is
switched on, increased noise may
occur.

8.3 Automatic door-opening
aid
The automatic door-opening aid sup-
ports you in opening the door.
Opening the door using the
automatic door-opening aid
ATTENTION!
Repeatedly closing the door prema-
turely may cause the automatic door-
opening aid to fail or wear out. Never
close the door while the door-open-
ing aid is extended.
If you have nevertheless closed
the door, leave it closed for
5minutes. The automatic door-
opening aid is realigned.
1. Push the door in the middle.

extends and opens the door
slightly.
2. Manually open the door.
If you do not open the door any
further within 3seconds, the auto-
matic door-opening aid retracts
and the door closes.
