4. INSTALLATION
WARNING!
Check the appliance for any damage, such as a misaligned or bent door, damaged
door seals and sealing surfaces, broken or loose door hinges and latches, and dents
inside the appliance or on the door. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.
General instructions
1. Remove all packing materials even from inside the door.
2. The appliance must be placed on a flat and stable surface to hold its weight
including the heaviest food to be cooked in the appliance.
3. Do not install the appliance in areas, where heat, moisture or high humidity is
generated.
4. Do not install the appliance near flammable materials.
5. The appliance must be properly ventilated for correct operation. 5 cm distance
are required at both sides of the appliance.
6. Do not cover or block any openings on the appliance. Do not remove its feet.
7. Do not operate the appliance without using the glass tray and the roller support.
8. The supply cord must not be damaged and must not run under the appliance or
over any hot or sharp-edged surfaces.
Electrical connection
WARNING!
All electric work must be carried out by an authorized professional. Do not carry
out any changes or modifications of the energy supply. The connection of the
appliance must be performed in compliance with this instruction manual. An
installation which is incorrectly performed may cause serious injuries to individuals
or animals or your property.
1. The appliance needs a properly grounded 16A socket (behind the appliance).
2. All leads of the main current circuit must meet the current legal regulations.
3. A dedicated power circuit is recommended for your appliance but not required.
Additional electric appliances on the same circuit may exceed the current
(amperage) rating for this circuit. If after the installation of your appliance the
circuit breaker trips or the fuse fails repeatedly, a dedicated circuit may be
needed.
Grounding
WARNING! The appliance must be grounded. Use a suitable power cord only.
It must be plugged into a wall socket which is installed and grounded properly. In
event of an electrical short circuit grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by
