CHAIN REPLACEMENT
WARNING: Avoid accidental starting.
Always unplug saw from power source
before installing a bar and/or chain.
CAUTION: Wear protective gloves
when handling chain. The chain is
sharp and can cut you even when it is
not moving.
It is normal for a new chain to stretch
during the first 30 minutes of operation.
You should recheck your chain tension
frequently and adjust the chain tension
as required. See "Check Chain Ten-
sion" in the Maintenance section.
A chain must comply with kickback
performance requirements of ANSI
B175.1 when tested with this saw.
Straighten out chain, then lay it on a
flat surface.
