the appliance by pulling on the power cord. Always grip the plug firmly and pull straight out from the

When moving the appliance, be careful not to damage the power cord.
Extension Cord
Because of potential safety hazards under certain conditions, it is strongly recommended that you do not
use an extension cord with this appliance. However, if you must use an extension cord, it is absolutely
necessary that it be a UL/CUL-Listed, 3-wire grounding type appliance extension cord having a grounding
type plug and outlet and that the electrical rating of the cord be 115 volts and at least 10 amperes.
OPERATING YOUR APPLIANCE
Clean the unit before using it, and be sure it is level.
All four feet are adjustable, so be sure the unit is level before operation.
After moving the unit, let it stand for at least 2 hours before switching it on.
Connect the unit to a power supply. Be sure the doors are closed. After about 2 hours, the
temperature inside the cabinet should be suitable for normal use, but in any case, keep the unit empty
for at least an hour after power is connected.
CAUTION
If power is disconnected, do not try to restart the unit within 5 minutes of the power disconnect.
Do not make holes through the walls of the unit in order to mount other items.
Avoid splashing water on the unit.
Do not store medical or pharmaceutical products in the unit.
Setting the Temperature
The temperature control is a digital thermostat located on the front of the unit in the lower right corner.
Next to the thermostat is a red LED that lights when POWER is supplied to the unit. There is also a green
LED marked ON that indicates when the compressor is operating.
The normal display of the thermostat shows the current interior temperature of the cabinet. The operating
temperature can be set from 34°F to 45°F.
To set the operating temperature:
1. Press the set button on the thermostat.
2. Press ▲ or ▼ within 15 seconds to display the operating temperature you desire.
3. Press set again, or do not operate for 15 seconds. The new operating temperature is set. (It may take
several hours for the unit to reach the new temperature.)
