Description of the appliance
Control panel
1. ON/OFF
The whole product(both fridge and freezer compartments)
canbeturnedonbypressingthisbuttonfor2seconds.
The last set value is indicated on the interface. Press this button
to turn off the device. An audible signal will confirm the “off
commutationoftheproduct”.
2. FRIDGE temperature indicator
Itshowsthetemperatureofthefridgecompartment.
3. FRIDGE temperature setting
It allows you to changethe fridge temperature value, in a
cyclicalway;italsoconfirmstheselectedtemperatureonthe
interface.
4 SUPER indicatorlight(rapidfreezing)
illuminates when the SUPER buttonispressed.
5 SUPER button(rapidfreezing)
To be used to freeze fresh foods. When it is pressed, the
SUPER indicatorlightilluminates(seeStart-upanduse).

Installation
!Beforeplacingyournewapplianceintooperationpleaseread
these operating instructions carefully. They contain important
information for safe use, for installation and for careof the
appliance.

Positioning and connection
Positioning
1. Placetheapplianceinawell-ventilatedhumidity-freeroom.
2. Do not obstruct the rear fan grills. The compressor and
condensergiveoffheatandrequiregoodventilationtooperate
correctly and save energy.
3. Leaveaspaceofatleast10cmbetweenthetoppartofthe
applianceandanyfurnitureaboveit,andatleast5cmbetween
thesidesandanyfurniture/sidewalls.
4. Placethedevicefarfromheatsources(directsunlight,electric
kitchen etc.)

Levelling
1. Installtheapplianceonalevelandrigidfloor.
2. Ifthefloorisnotperfectlyhorizontal,adjusttherefrigeratorby
tightening or loosening the front feet.
Electrical connections
After the appliance has been transported, carefully place it
vertically and wait at least 3 hours before connecting it to the
electricitymains.Beforeinsertingtheplugintotheelectricalsocket
ensure the following:
• Theapplianceisearthedandtheplugiscompliantwiththelaw.
• Thesocketcanwithstandthemaximumpoweroftheappliance,
• Thevoltagemustbeintherangebetweenthevaluesindicated
onthedataplatelocated on thebottomleftside(e.g.220-
240V).
• The socket is compatiblewith the plug of theappliance. If
thesocketisincompatiblewiththeplug,askanauthorised
techniciantoreplaceit(see Assistance).Donotuseextension
cordsormultiplesockets.
!Oncetheappliancehasbeeninstalled,thepowersupplycable
and the electrical socket must be easily accessible.
!Thecablemustnotbebentorcompressed.
!Thecablemustbecheckedregularlyandreplacedbyauthorised
technicians only (see Assistance).
! The manufacturer declines any liability should these safety
measures not be observed.
Start-up and use
Starting the appliance
! Before starting the appliance, follow the installation
instructions (see Installation).
!Beforeconnectingtheappliance,cleanthecompartmentsand
accessories well with lukewarm water and bicarbonate.
!Electronicversionsareprovidedwithamotorprotectionswitch
thatpowersonthecompressoronlyalmost8minutesafterthe
starting.Thecompressoralsostartseachtimethepowersupply
is cut off whether voluntarily or involuntarily (blackout).
1. ConnecttheplugandcheckthattheFRIDGE TEMPERATURE
indicatorturnson.Iftheindicatorstaysoff,pleasepressthe
ON/OFFbutton.
2.SettheFRIDGE TEMPERATURE on an average value. After a
fewhoursitwillbepossibletoinsertfoodinthefridge.
AIR*
Itisrecommended toenabletheAIRpushingontheapposite
button to improve the functioning of the product with high
environmenttemperature,iftherearewaterdropsontheglass
shelves or in high humidity conditions.
Donotblocktheairinletwithfood.
Using the refrigerator to its full potential
• Placeonlycoldorlukewarmfoodsinthecompartment,never
hotfoods(SeeMULTIUSEDRAWERwherepresent)
• Rememberthatcookedfoodsdonotlastlongerthanrawfoods.
• Donotstoreliquidsinopencontainers:theywillincreasethe
level of humidity in the refrigerator and cause condensation to
form.
SHELVES: with or without grill.
Theyareremovableandadjustableinheightanddepththanksto
thespecialguides(seethepicture),allowingeasystorageoflarge
containersandfood.Heightcanbeadjustedwithoutcomplete
removal of the shelf.

TEMPERATURE Indicatorlight*: to identify the coldest area in
the refrigerator.
1. Check that OK appears clearly on the indicator light (see
diagram).

2. Iftheword“OK”doesnotappearitmeansthatthetemperature
istoohigh:settheFRIDGETEMPERATUREonacoldervalue,
andthenwait10hoursuntilthetemperaturebecomesstable.
3. Check the indicator light again: if necessary, readjust it
followingtheinitialprocess.Iflargequantitiesoffoodhave
been added or if the refrigerator door has been opened
frequently,itisnormalfortheindicatornottoshowOK.Wait
atleast10hoursbeforeyousettheFRIDGEtemperatureona
colder value.
MULTI USE DRAWER* container
Thisisthenewboxwhichoffersmaximumflexibilityinorderto
stockyourfoodinanexcellentway.
Ifyouputinthelowsectionofyourfridgecompartment,onthe
crisperbox,itbecomesCHILLER,anditguaranteesatemperature
verycloseto0°C,whichisidealto:
-storemeat,fishanddelicatefood;
-rapidcoolingofhotfoods;
-low temperature defrosting (itinhibits the proliferation of
microorganisms).
Youcangetthe0°Ctemperature,instandardconditions,when
thefridgecompartmenttemperatureisatabout4°C.
BydecreasingthefridgetemperatureyoudecreasetheCHILLER
compartmenttemperaturetoo.
Ifyouputitinthe“upper”partofthefridgecompartment(A1),it
willbesuitabletostorefruitandvegetables,thusgivingyouthe
possibilitytohaveasecondcrisperbox.
Operation and maintenance of the water
dispenser.
Whenfirstused,orafterprolongedperiodsofinactivity,washthe
tankwithwater.Thewaterdispensersuppliescoldwaterwithout
havingtoopentherefrigeratordooreachtime.
Thisalsoallowsforreducingtheproduct’senergyconsumption.
Tofillthetank,lifttheflaporremovethecover(seepicture)then
pourinthewaterwithacarafeorothersuitablecontainer.Avoid
fillingthetankcompletely.

Always exclusively use drinkable natural mineral water: any
other liquid may hamper the device’s correct operation.
To withdraw water with the refrigerator doorclosed, press the
dispenseractuatorwithasuitablecontainer(glass,carafe,etc.).
Releasetheactuatoroncethedesiredquantityhasbeendispensed.
The water tank should be cleaned regularly under running water; do
notusedetergents.Tocleanthetank,removethetankcoverand
upperledges;subsequently,removethetankbypullingitoutwards
whilepressingtheappropriatebutton(seepicture).
The tank must be replaced back into its housing as soon as
possible so as to avoid excessive heating of the refrigerator.

Formorethoroughcleaning,itisadvisabletounscrewthevalve
fromthetank(seepicture)andcleanitunderrunningwater.
! Be careful not to pull the transparent mobile element of the valve.

Once cleaning operations have been completed, screw the
valve back on while ensuring that the internal seal adheres to the
endpartofthetankbushing;subsequently,putthetank-valve
assembly back into the appropriate cylindrical housing of the
door,whilemakingsurethattheupperhookontherearwallof
thetankisproperlyinsertedintheappropriatecompartmenton
theinnerwallofthedoor.Putthepreviouslyremovedledgesand
tankcoverbackinplace.
! Make sure that the tank has been properly inserted in the
door (see picture).

! The presence of water drops onthe tank walls is a normal
occurrenceduringtheproduct’soperation.
! Dry any drops present on the outer walls of the product.
! To empty completely the Water Tank, please disassembly
it as shown on the picture, spill the water, clean with a soft
textile and assembly in the product.
! If the water drops remain on the external door surface
after use, clean it with a soft cleaning textile.
Using the freezer to its full potential
• Donotre-freezefoodthatisdefrostingorthathasalreadybeen
defrosted.Thesefoodsmustbecookedandeaten(within24
hours).
• Freshfoodforfreezingshouldnotbeplacedincontactwiththe
onealreadyfrozen;itshouldbeplacedinthelowerFREEZER
andSTORAGEcompartmentthatprovidesthebestfreezing
rate.
•To freeze fresh food in the best and safest way possible,
activatetheSUPERfunction24hoursbeforeplacingthefood
inthefreezer.Afterplacingthefoodinside,activatetheSUPER
function again; it will be deactivated automaticallyafter 24
hours;
• Donotplaceglassbottleswhichcontainliquids,andwhicharecorked
orhermeticallysealedinthefreezerbecausetheycouldbreak.
• The maximum quantityof food that may be frozen daily is
indicated on the plate containing the technical properties
locatedonthebottomleftsideoftherefrigeratorcompartment
(forexample:2Kg/24h).
! To avoid blocking the air circulation inside the freezer
compartment, it is advisable not to obstruct the ventilation
holes with food or containers.
!Donotopenthedoorduringfreezing.
!Ifthereisapowercutormalfunction,donotopenthefreezer
door.Thiswillhelpmaintainthetemperatureinsidethefreezer,
ensuringthatfoodsareconservedforatleast12-18hours.
!Togetmorespaceinsideyourfreezer,youcantakeoutany
drawers(andflaps,ifappropriate),fromtheirslots,byputting
yourfooddirectlyontheprovidedshelves.
Maintenance and care
Switching the appliance off
Duringcleaningandmaintenanceitisnecessarytodisconnect
theappliancefromtheelectricitysupply:
1.PresstheON/OFFbuttontoturnoffthedevice
2. pulltheplugoutofthesocket
Cleaning the appliance
• Theexternalandinternalparts,aswellastherubbersealsmay
becleanedusingaspongethathasbeensoakedinlukewarm
waterandbicarbonateofsoda or neutralsoap.Donotuse
solvents,abrasiveproducts,bleachorammonia.
• Theremovableaccessoriesmaybesoakedinwarmwaterand
soapordishwashingliquid.Rinseanddrythemcarefully.
• The back of the appliance may collect dust which can be
removed by delicately using the hose of a vacuum cleaner set
onmediumpower.Theappliancemustbeswitchedoffand
theplugmustbepulledoutbeforecleaningtheappliance.
Avoiding mould and unpleasant odours
• Theapplianceismanufacturedwithhygienicmaterialswhich
areodourfree.Inordertomaintainanodourfreerefrigerator
andtopreventtheformationofstains,foodmustalwaysbe
coveredorsealedproperly.
• Ifyouwanttoswitchtheapplianceoffforanextendedperiod
oftime,cleantheinsideandleavethedoorsopen.
Replace LED * light
TheLEDlighting,thankstothepowerfuldiffusedlight,allowes
aclearviewofeachfood.IfyouneedtoreplacetheLEDlight,
contacttheTechnicalService.
Replacing the light bulb *
Toreplacethelightbulbintherefrigeratorcompartment,pullout
theplugfromtheelectricalsocket.Followtheinstructionsbelow.
Access the light bulb by removing the cover as indicated in the
diagram.Replaceitwithasimilarlightbulbwithinthepowerrange
indicated on the cover.

Precautions and tips
!Theappliancewasdesignedandmanufacturedincompliance
with international safety standards. The following warnings are
providedforsafetyreasonsandmustbereadcarefully.

General safety
• Theappliancewasdesignedfordomesticuseinsidethehome
and is not intended for commercial or industrial use.
• Theappliancemustbeusedtostoreandfreezefoodproducts
by adults only and according to the instructions in this manual.
• Theappliancemustnotbeinstalledoutdoors,evenincovered
areas. It is extremely dangerous to leave the appliance
exposedtorainandstorms.
• Donottouchtheappliancewithbarefeetorwithwetormoist
hands and feet.
• Donottouchtheinternalcoolingelements:thiscouldcause
skinabrasionsorfrost/freezerburns.
• Whenunpluggingtheappliancealwayspulltheplugfromthe
mainssocket,donotpullonthecable.
• Before cleaning and maintenance, always switch off the
applianceanddisconnectitfromtheelectricalsupply.-Itis
notenoughtoturnoffthedevice(withtheON/OFFbutton)to
eliminate all electric contacts.
• Inthecaseofamalfunction,undernocircumstancesshould
youattempttorepairtheapplianceyourself.Repairscarried
out by inexperienced persons may cause injury or further
malfunctioningoftheappliance.
• Donotuseanysharporpointedutensilsorelectricalequipment
-otherthanthetyperecommendedbythemanufacturer-inside
thefrozenfoodstoragecompartments.
• Donotputicecubestakendirectlyfromthefreezerintoyour
mouth.
• Thisapplianceisnotintendedforusebypersons(including
children)withreducedphysical,sensoryorlackofexperience
and knowledge unless they have been given Supervision
orinstruction concerning use of theappliancebya person
responsiblefortheirsafety.ChildrenshouldbeSupervisedto
ensurethattheydonotplaywiththeappliance.
• Keeppackagingmaterialoutofthereachofchildren!Itcan
becomeachokingorsuffocationhazard.
Disposal
• Observe local environmental standards when disposing
packagingmaterialforrecyclingpurposes.
• TheEuropeanDirective2012/19/EUonWasteElectricaland
Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household
electricalappliancesmustnotbedisposedofinthenormal
unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be
collected separately in order to optimise the recovery and
recyclingofthematerialstheycontainandreducetheimpact
on human health and the environment. The crossed out
“wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your
obligation,thatwhenyoudisposeoftheapplianceitmustbe
separately collected. Consumers should contact their local
authority or retailer for information concerning the correct
disposaloftheiroldappliance.
Respecting and conserving the
environment
• Installtheapplianceinafreshandwell-ventilatedroom.Ensure
thatitisprotectedfromdirectsunlightanddonotplaceitnear
heat sources.
• Trytoavoidkeepingthedooropenforlongperiodsoropening
the door too frequently in order to conserve energy.
• Do not fill the appliance with too much food: cold air must
circulatefreelyforfoodtobepreservedproperly.Ifcirculation
isimpeded,thecompressorwillworkcontinuously.
• Donotplacehotfooddirectlyintotherefrigerator.Theinternal
temperaturewillincreaseandforcethecompressortowork
harder and will consume more energy.
• Defrosttheapplianceificeforms(see Maintenance). A thick
layeroficemakescoldtransferencetofoodproductsmore
difficultandresultsinincreasedenergyconsumption.
Troubleshooting
Iftheappliancedoesnotwork,beforecallingforAssistance(see
Assistance),checkforasolutionfromthefollowinglist.
The interface is off.
•Theplugisnotinsertedintheoutlet,oritisnotpowerfulenough
tocreateacontact,orthereisnoelectricityinthehouse.
The motor does not start.
• Theappliance comes with a motor protection control (see
Start-up and use).
a) The alarm sounds.
a)Therefrigeratordoorhasremainedopenformorethantwo
minutes(thebuzzerwillstopsoundingwhenyoushutthedoor)
or the correct switching-offprocedure was not followed (see
Maintenance).
The refrigerator and the freezer do not cool well.
• Thedoorsdonotcloseproperlyorthesealsaredamaged.
• Thedoorsareopenedtoofrequently.
•TheFRIDGETEMPERATUREisnotcorrect(seeDescription).
• Therefrigeratororthefreezerhavebeenover-filled.
The food inside the refrigerator is beginning to freeze.
•TheFRIDGETEMPERATUREisnotcorrect(seeDescription).
• The food is in contact with the back inside wall of the
refrigerator.
The motor runs continuously.
• TheSUPERbuttonwaspressed:theyellowSUPERindicator
ison(seeDescription).
• Thedoorisnotclosedproperlyoriscontinuouslyopened.
• Theoutsideambienttemperatureisveryhigh.
The appliance makes a lot of noise.
• Theappliancehasnotbeeninstalledonalevelsurface(see
Installation).
• Theappliancehasbeeninstalledbetweencabinetsthatvibrate
and make noise.
• Theinternalrefrigerant makesaslightnoiseevenwhen the
compressorisoff.Thisisnotadefect,itisnormal.
The back wall of the refrigerator unit is covered in frost or
droplets of water
