IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
❑ READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
❑ Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the
appliance.
❑ Close supervision is necessary to prevent children from using or
playing with the appliance.
❑ Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
❑ Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply if it is left
unattended, and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
❑ From time to time check the cord for damage. Never use the

❑ Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
❑ Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the power
supply.
❑ Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry
environment.
❑ Never use accessories which are not recommended by the
producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and risk
damage of the appliance.
❑ Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord
cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the
appliance and do not bend it.
❑ Make sure the appliance is set on a flat surface.
❑ Unplug the appliance when not in use.
❑ Only use this slicer for slicing food. Only slice articles such as cheese,
meat, bread and preparations. Avoid slicing through bones, deep
frozen food or packaged food as this could damage the motor or
the blade.
