1. Removeallloosepart_m insidethetank.

Champar(31),andbottomofPumpingShaft (32) intobottom
holein PumpingLever(20). Installwashersand cotterpinsto
securetheshaftin place, InstallStrainer(2) intomouth of
ChemicalTank(1).

andmakeSureCotterPinsare inplace soPumpingShaft
moveswhenhandleisused.
REVERSING.PUMPHANDLE:
Youcanwearthe sprayerfor rightor lefthandpumphandle
operation.Toreversepumphandlelocation,reversethe
CarryingStrap(53) andwearthe sprayerfromthe opposite
sideonyourback.To reversethe Cawing Strap:Remove
the strapFbdSgClamp(6). Removethestrap from the strap
slot:belowthecarrying handle. Relnsortstrapintoslotfrom
oppositesideoftank. Replaceclamptosecure strap inplace.
NOTE: Makestrap adjustment BEFOREfilling thetank(Full
tankwillweighapproximately42 Ibs,).
PRE-USE CHECK:
1, Checkhose{omake sureitisseauralyatta_ed tothetank
outletand shut-offvalveinlet, leepestI:=osafor deterioration,
cracks,softness,or brittleness,
2. Removepumpand inspectinteriorand exterioroftankfor
signsofdeterioration(i,e,aracldngand bdttleness)thatcan
result Inexplosiveburstingunderpressure.
3, Totestsprayer,flit,pressurize(pump8-10times), and
spraywater. Ifunit passestest, releasepressure,empty
waterand proceed.

OPERATION

resistance,youhavenowpressurizedyoursprayerand are

thelockmechanism tolockthe handlein the "down" position.
4. Itmay benecessaryduringsprayingtoperiodically pump
the unitinorderto maintain pressure.DOnot over-pressudze
the pumpas itmaycausedamagetothe unit,
5. Oncefinishedwiththe sprayingjob, spraychemicaloutof
wanduntilall pressureisrelievedandwand willnot spray.

byspraying untilpressureisrelieved.Then emptyany
remainingwaterfrom tank topreventany corrosion from
occurring.

Lubricatethebushing(25)weeklyor slig-htiyloosenthe
PackihgNut(8)
NOTE: The bushingmay belubricatedwith s lightgrease.

NEVER leaveagrsohemisalresiduesinsidethe sprayertank.
WASHthesprayerwithcleanwater at theend ofeveryjob,
thenlubricate.

Occasionallycheckallmovingparts'forfree movementand, if
.necessary,lubricatewithoiL
Shouldrustdevelop,sandlightlyand then paintareswith
enamel.
Periodicallycheck all fastenersfor tightness.
