Clean, correct venting
WARNING :
- Use a heavy metal vent,
- Do not use a plastic vent,
- Do not use a metal foil vent.
- Failure to follow these instructions can result in death or fire
Existing vent should be cleaned before connecting dryer and then every two years for best performance.
- Replace plastic vent with rigid metal or flexible metal vent.

- Vent should be 4" (10.16 cm) wide.

- Use clamps to seal all joints. Do not use duct tape or screws

- Make the vent as short as possible with the fewest number of turns.

- If using existing vent, remove lint from the entire length of vent.

- Remove lint from hood. Flapper or louvers should move freely.

Use the Vent System Chart below to determine type of vent material and hood combination acceptable to use.

A level dryer
- Check that all four legs are installed.

- Use a wrench to finish turning the legs until the diamond mark is no longer visible.

- Be sure dryer is level side to side and front to back.

- Adjust the legs as needed.

Proper electrical supply for dryer
WARNING :
- Use a new UL listed 30 amp power supply cord.
- Use a UL listed strain relief.
- Disconnect power before making electrical connections.
- Connect neutral wire (white or center wire) to center terminal (silver).
- Ground wire (green or bare wire) must be connected to green ground connector.
- Connect remaining 2 supply wires to remaining 2 terminals (gold),
- Securely tighten all electrical connections.
- Failure to do so can result in death, fire, or electrical shock.
Disconnect power before making electrical connections. An electric dryer requires a 240 volt electrical supply. Without the correct electrical supply, your dryer may tumble clothes, but will not heat to dry the clothes. For more information, see Installation Instructions.

- Use a UL listed strain relief and make sure it is tightened.
