Thisdevicereleasesozonemoleculesinsidetherefrigerator;ozoneisanaturalsubstancewhichcombatsbacteriaand
microorganisms,reducingtheirproliferationwhilelimitingunpleasantodours.
Automaticallydefinestheamountofozonerequiredforprolongingthefreshnessoffoodstuffs,eliminatingodoursand
preventingbacteriabuild-up.Theremaybeaslightdistinctiveodourinsidetherefrigerator.
Theverysamesmellcansometimesbedetectedduringastorm,duetotheozoneproducedasthechargeinthelightning
boltsisreleased;thisiscompletelynormal.
Theamountproducedbythedeviceisverysmallandabatesquicklyastheantibacterialactiontakesplace.
Deviceisactivatedpressingthededicatedkeyonthedisplaylocatedinfrontofthefridgedoor.
Byholdingtheactiveoxygenbuttonfor8secondsyoucanenabletheecofeature.

Controlstheactivationanddeactivationoftheecofunction(optimaloperatingtemperatureforminimalenergy
consumption).Consumptionwillbeoptimized24hafterthefunctionwasenabled.Whenthisfunctionisactivated,theeco
ledonthekeypadlightsup.
Pressandholdtheecobuttonfor8secondssothatthecorrespondingledbeginstoflash;thiswillallowyoutosetthe
temperaturetointherefrigeratorcompartmentandinthefreezercompartment.Twominutesafterthemostrecentuser
interaction,thedisplayentersitsenergysavingmode.
Toexittheenergysavingmode,simplypressanybuttonoropentherefrigeratordoor.

Activatesordeactivatestheholidayfunction(theholidayledonthekeypadlightsup),whilethetemperaturevalues+12°c
and-18°cappearontherefrigeratorandfreezerdisplaysrespectively.Twominutesafterthemostrecentuserinteraction,the
displayentersitsenergysavingmode(seeecofunction).
No-frostrefrigeratorcompartment
Refrigeratorcompartmentdefrostingiscompletelyautomatic.
Dropletsofwaterontherearwallinsidetherefrigeratorcompartmentindicatethattheautomaticdefrostphaseisinprogress.
TheNoFrostsystemcirculatescoldaircontinuouslytocollecthumidityandpreventiceandfrostformation.
Thesystemmaintainsanoptimalhumiditylevelinthecompartment,preservingtheoriginalqualityofthefood,preventingthe
foodfromstickingtogetherandmakingdefrostingathingofthepast.
Donotblocktheaerationcellsbyplacingfoodorcontainersindirectcontactwiththerefrigeratingbackpanel.
Closebottlesandwrapfoodtightly.
No-frostfreezercompartment
NoFrostfreezersprovidechilledaircirculationaroundthestorageareas,andpreventtheformationofice,therebycompletely
eliminatingtheneedfordefrosting.

Howtousetheappliance
Firsttimeuse
Beforeconnectingtheappliance,cleanthecompartmentsandaccessorieswellwithlukewarmwaterandbicarbonate.
Afterpluggingtheappliancetothemains,itstartstheoperationautomatically.
Afterstartingtheappliance,waitatleast4-6hoursbeforeplacingfoodintotheappliance.
Whentheapplianceis connectedtothepowersupply, thedisplaylightsupandalltheiconsappearonthedisplayfor
approximately1second.Thedefault(factory)valuesofthefridgecompartmentsettingslight-up.
Refrigeratorcompartmentandfoodstorage
Therefrigeratorcompartmentallowsforthestorageoffreshfoodanddrink.Therefrigeratorcompartmentdefrostscompletely
automatically.Theoccasionalpresenceofdropsofwaterontheinternalbackwallofthecompartmentisasignoftheautomatic
defrostingphase.Thedefrostingwaterischannelledintoadrainandthencollectedinacontainer,whereitevaporates.
Note:theambienttemperature,howoftenthedoorsareopenedandthepositionoftheappliancemayaffecttheinternaltemperatures
inthetwocompartments.Setthetemperaturesdependingonthesefactors.Inveryhumidconditions,condensationmayforminthe
refrigeratorcompartment,especiallyontheglassshelves.Inthiscase,itisrecommendedthatyouclosecontainerswithliquidsin(e.g.apot
ofstock),wrapupfoodwithahighwatercontent(e.g.vegetables)andturnonthefan,ifthereisone.Allofthedrawers,doorshelvesand
shelvescanberemoved.
Airventilation
Thenaturalcirculationofairintherefrigeratorcompartmentresultsinzoneswithdifferenttemperatures.Itiscoldestdirectly
abovethefruitsandvegetablescrisperandattherearwall.Itiswarmestatthetopfrontofthecompartment.Insufficient
ventilationresultsinanincreaseinenergyconsumptionandreductionoftherefrigeratingperformance.
Howtostorefreshfoodandbeverages
Foodswhichgiveoffalargeamountethylenegas(apples,apricots,pears,peaches,avocado,figs,prunes,blueberries,mellons,
beans)andthosethataresensitivetothisgas,suchasfruitvegetablesandsalad,shouldalwaysbeseparatedorwrappedsoas
nottoreducethestoragelife;forexampledonotstoretomatoestogetherwithkiwifruitsorcabbage.Donotstorefoodtoo
closetogethertoenablesufficientaircirculation.Userecyclableplastic,metal,aluminumandglasscontainersandclingfilmto
wrapfoods.Ifyouhavealittlequantityoffoodtostoreintherefrigerator,werecommendtousetheshelvesabovethecrisper
forfruitsandvegetablessincethisisthecoolestareaofthecompartment.Alwaysuseclosedcontainersforliquidsandforfood
thatmaygiveofforbetaintedbyodororflavortransferorcoverthem. Toavoidbottlesfallingover,youcanusethebottle
holder(availableonselectedmodels).

Freezercompartmentfoodstorage
Thefreezercompartmentallowsforthestorageoffrozenfood(fortheperiodindicatedonthepackaging)andthefreezingof
freshfood.Thequantityoffreshfoodthatcanbefrozenin24hoursiswrittenontheratingplate.Arrangethefreshfoodinthe
freezingareainsidethefreezercompartment,leavingenoughspacearoundthefoodpackagestoallowairtocirculatefreely.It
isadvisablethatyoudonotre-freezefoodthathaspartiallydefrosted.Itisimportanttowrapthefoodinawaythatprevents
theingressofwater,humidityorcondensation.
Togetmorevolume,thefreezercompartmentcanbeusedwithoutthefreezerdrawers.Makesurethatthedoorisclosed
properly.
Icecubes
Fill2/3oftheicetraywithwaterandputitbackinthefreezercompartment.Donotusesharporpointedobjectstoremovethe
iceunderanycircumstances.

•Werecommendtolabelanddateallyourfrozenfood.Addingalabelwillhelpyoutoidentifyfoodsandtoknowwhen
theyshouldbeusedbeforetheirqualitydeteriorates.Donotre-freezedefrostedfood.
•Beforefreezing,wrapandsealfreshfoodin:aluminiumfoil,clingfilm,airandwater-tightplasticbags,polythene
containerswithlidsorfreezercontainerssuitableforfreezingfreshfood.
•Foodmustbefresh,matureandofprimequalityinordertoobtainhighqualityfrozenfood.
•Freshvegetablesandfruitshouldpreferablybefrozenassoonastheyarepickedtomaintainthefulloriginalnutritional
value,consistency,colourandflavor.Somemeat,especiallygame,shouldbehungbeforeitisfrozen.
•Alwaysleavehotfoodtocoolbeforeplacinginthefreezer.
•Eatfullyorpartiallydefrostedfoodsimmediately.Donotrefreezeunlessthefoodiscookedafterithasthawed.Once
cooked,thethawedfoodcanberefrozen.
•Donotfreezebottleswithliquid.

•Whenshopping,buyfrozenfoodsattheendofyourtripandtransporttheminathermallyinsulatedcoolbag.

Beforeanycleaningormaintenanceoperation,unplugtheappliancefromthemainsordisconnecttheelectrical
powersupply.
Neveruseabrasives.Nevercleanrefrigeratorpartswithflammablefluids.
Donotusesteamcleaners.
Thebuttonsandcontrolpaneldisplaymustnotbecleanedwithalcoholoralcohol-derivedsubstances,butwithadry
cloth.
▶ Periodicallycleantheappliancewithaclothandasolutionof
lukewarmwaterandneutraldetergentspecificallyforrefrigerator
interiors.
▶ Theremovableaccessoriesmaybesoakedinwarmwaterandsoapor
dishwashingliquid.Rinseanddrythemcarefully.
▶ Cleantheoutsideoftheapplianceandthedoorsealwithadamp
clothanddrywithasoftcloth.
▶ Condenserplacedintherearoftheapplianceshouldbecleaned
regularlyusingavacuumcleaner.
▶ Unlessotherwisespecifiedtheapplianceaccessoriesarenot
dishwashersafe.

•Makesuretheapplianceislevelsothat
