THE AIR CONDITIONER WILL NOT OPERATE
Check if... Then...
Wallplug disconnected.
House fuse blown or circuit breaker tripped.
MODE selector is OFF position.
Unit was tumed offand then ontoo quickly.
TEMP Control cot warmer than roomtemperature
Push plugfirmly into walloutlet.
Replacefuse withtime delay type or resetcircuit breaker.
Tum MODE selector to thedesired COOL setting.
Tum unit off andwait 3 minutes before restarting
Tum TEMP Controlclockwiseto a cooler setting(highernumber).
AIR FROM UNIT DOES NOT FEEL COLD ENOUGH.
Check if... Then...
MODE selector in LOW COOL Position.
TEMP Control set toowarm (lower number).
Roomtemperature below 70°F (21°C).
Temperature sensing tubetouching evaporator coit,
locatedbehind front grille.
Turn selector to HIGHCOOL position
Tum TEMP Controlclockwiseto a cooler setting(highernumber).
Cooling may notoccur until roomtemperature risesabove 70°F (21°C).
Straightentube away from evaporator coil
Airfilter may be dirty.
TEMP Control set toocold for night-time cooling.

Outdoor temperature below 70°F (21°C). To defrost thecoil, set selectorto FAN position. Then,turn TEMP control

set selector to FAN position
