Searswill repairor replacefree ofchargeany partsthatarefoundto bedefectivein
materialorworkmanshipaccordingto the guidelinesof coveragelistedbelow.Searswill
alsoprovidefreelaborforthese applicablewarrantedpartsforthetwofullyears.During
thefirst30 daysof purchase,therewillbe nochargesto servicethe productat your

ThisWarrantydoesnotcover:
• Expendableitemswhichbecomeworn duringnormaluse,includingbutnotlimitedto
blades,sparkplugs,air cleaners,belts,andoilfilters.
• StandardMaintenanceServicing,oilchanges, or tune-ups
• Tirereplacementorrepaircausedbypuncturesfromoutsideobjects,suchasnails,
thorns,stumps,or glass.
• Repairsnecessarybecauseof operatorabuse,includingbutnotlimitedto,damage
causedbytowingobjectsbeyondthecapabilityof theridingequipment,impacting
objectsthat bendtheframeorcrankshaft,or over-speedingthe engine.
• Repairsnecessarybecauseof operatornegligence,includingbutnotlimitedto,elec-
trical andmechanicaldamagecausedbyimproperstorage,failureto use theproper
gradeandamountof engineoil,failureto keepthe deckclear offlammabledebris,
orfailureto maintaintheequipmentaccordingtothe instructionscontainedinthe
owner'smanual.
• Engine(fuelsystem)cleaningorrepairscausedbyfueldeterminedto becontami-
natedoroxidized(stale). Ingeneral,fuelshouldbe usedwithin30 daysof itspur-
chasedate.
• Normaldeteriorationandwearoftheexteriorfinishes,or productlabel replacement.
• Ridingequipmentusedfor commercialor rentalpurposes.
LIMITEDWARRANTYON BATTERY
Forninety(90)daysfromdate of purchase,if anybatteryincludedwiththis ridingequip-
mentprovesdefectivein materialorworkmanshipandourtesting determinesthebattery
will notholdacharge,Searswillreplacethebatteryat nocharge. Duringthefirst30
daysofpurchase,therewill beno chargesto replacethe batteryatyour HOME. After
thefirst30 days,foryourconvenience,IN-HOMEwarrantyservicewillstill beavail-
ablebuta tripchargewill apply.Thischargewillbewaivedifthe Craftsmanproductis
