Operation of the griddle
47
The griddle is thermostatically
controlled to maintain a consistent
temperature. To prevent food from
sticking, it is necessary to "season" the
griddle prior to use (see "Before using
for the first time"). Full flexibility,
depending on the food, from "Low",
"Medium" and "High" as power
settings.
Turning on the griddle
Press the control knob of the griddle
and turn it counterclockwise to
"Low."
If the burner fails to light, turn the
control knob to the "Off" position. Air
the room or wait at least 1 minute
before trying again.
If the second attempt also fails to
light the burner, turn the control knob
to the "Off" position and refer to the
"Frequently asked questions"
section.
Preheat the griddle plate for about 20
minutes.
Set the desired power level.
