microwaveoveniscool.Alwaysfollowlabelinstructionsoncleaning
products.
Toavoiddamagetothemicrowaveovencausedbyarcingduetosoil
buildup,keepcavity,microwaveinletcover,cookingracksupports,
andareawherethedoortouchestheframeclean.
Cleanwithmildsoap,waterandasoftclothorsponge,orasindicated
below.
• Greasefilter:mildsoapandwaterordishwasher.
• Doorandexterior:mildsoapandwater,orglasscleanerapplied
topapertowel.
• Controlpanel:spongeorsoftclothandwater.
• Stainlesssteel(onsomemodels):mildsoapandwater,thenrinse
withcleanwateranddrywithsoftcloth,orusestainlesssteel
cleaner.
• Turntable:mildsoapandwaterordishwasher.
• Racks:mildsoap,waterandwashcloth.Dishwashercleaningis
notrecommended.
• Panandhandle:mildsoap,waterandwashclothordishwasher.
• Steamervessel:mildsoap,waterandsoftbrushordishwasher.
Installing/ReplacingFiltersandLightBulbs
NOTE:Afilterstatusindicator(onsomemodels)appearsinthedisplay
whenitistimetoreplacethecharcoalfilter,andcleanorreplacethe
greasefilters.See"Settings"sectiontoresetfilterstatus.
• Greasefilters:Greasefiltersareontheundersideofmicrowave
oven.Cleanmonthly,oraspromptedbyfilterstatusindicator.
Slidethefilterawayfromthetabarea,anddropoutthefilter.To
reinstall,placeendofthefilterintotheopeningoppositethetab
area,swinguptheotherend,andslideittowardthetabarea.
• Charcoalfilters:Thecharcoalfiltersarebehindtheventgrilleat
thetopfrontofthemicrowaveoven.Thecharcoalfilterscannot
becleaned,andshouldbereplacedaboutevery6months,oras
promptedbyfilterstatusindicator.Removetwoscrewsonthe
ventgrille,tiltthegrilleforward,liftitout,andremovefilters.To
reinstall,placeeachfilterintoitsslottedarea- wiremeshsideup,
replaceventgrille,andsecurewithscrews.
• Cooktoplight:Thecooktoplightislocatedontheundersideofthe
microwaveoven,andisreplaceable.Removebulbcoverscrew,
andopenthebulbcover.Replacebulb,closebulbcover,and
securewithscrew.
Cavitylight:Thecavitylightbulbislocatedbehindtheventgrille
atthetopfrontofthemicrowaveoven,underthebulbcover,and
isreplaceable.Opendoor.Removetwoscrewsontheventgrille,
tiltthegrilleforward,andliftitout.Removerightsidecharcoal
filter.Openbulbcoverandreplacebulb.Closebulbcover,replace
charcoalfilter,replaceventgrille,andsecurewithscrews.
