INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before Using the Ice Maker
Remove any exterior or interior packaging.
Attach the four leveling feet to the bottom of the appliance.
NOTE: Before connecting the ice maker to a power source, let the appliance stand upright for
approximately two hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling
system from handling during transportation.
Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water, using a soft cloth.
Make sure the water intake hose is not twisted, kinked, or damaged.
Connect the ice maker to the cold-water pipeline.
Make sure the water pressure is between 20 80 pounds per inch (psi).
WARNING: If the ice maker will not be used for an extended period of time, it is
suggested, after careful cleaning, to unplug the appliance and leave the door cracked
open to allow air to circulate inside the cabinet. This will minimize the formation of
condensation, mold, and odors.
Installing the Ice Maker
Place the ice maker on a floor that is strong enough to support it when it is fully loaded. Adjust
the two leveling feet at the bottom front of the appliance to level the ice maker,
Place the ice maker away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, heater, radiator, etc.).
o Direct sunlight and heat sources may increase electrical consumption. Extremely cold
ambient temperatures may also cause the unit not to perform properly.
Avoid locating the appliance in moist or damp areas.
Plug the appliance into an exclusive, properly installed, and grounded wall outlet. DO NOT,
under any circumstances, cut or remove the third (grounding) prong from the power cord. Any
questions concerning power and/or grounding should be directed toward a certified electrician or
an authorized service center.
Installing the Leveling Legs
Your unit includes two sets of legs to raise the height off the floor. You can install the 4 high set to
raise the height to 34 ½”, or the shorter ½” to 1 ½” set to bring the height to 31 ½” (ideal for use
under ADA compliant counters).
To install either set, follow these instructions:
NOTE: Unplug the appliance and make sure the unit is empty before adding or removing adjustable
feet.
1. Carefully lay the unit onto its side, using a soft cloth to ensure the outer surface is not scratched.
2. Screw the adjustable legs into the bottom of the cabinet, using the attached bolt to secure the
foot to the bottom of the cabinet.
3. Set the unit upright, and install in the appropriate location.
Turning the legs to the right will lower that side of the unit. Turning the legs to the left will raise that
side of the unit. The height can be increased by between ½” and 1 ½”.
