Avoiding Damage
to Non-Stick Surface
Taking a little extra care with non-stick cookware
will prolong its life.
• Hand washing is recommended as the loss
of non-stick properties can be accelerated by
dishwashers. Dishwashing detergents have a high
alkalinity level and may also contain chlorine bleach
and phosphates.
• Avoid pre-heating or cooking on high heat for long
periods. Cumulative overheating will result in damage
to the non-stick surface.
• Do not allow cookware to boil dry and never leave
empty cookware on a hot burner.
