#2 Does this heater automatically turn on/off when appropriate settings have been adjusted?
I do believe that there are dials with mini and maxi heat settings. When the selected temperature is reached, the unit does turn off. For the small size, this heater does provide a considerable amount of heat.
#3 Is this the same as the CZ442, but with a rotating base?
The Comfort Zone CZ448 does not have a rotating base.
#4 Does this turn on automatically after a power outage?
Don't really know but if it is in fan only or heat mode I think it should.
