Oven Installation
Oven Installation
When installing an oven in either Underbench or Column cabinetry, provision must be
made for effective cooling air circulation. Adequate supply of air flow will reduce the risk
of the oven overheating.
A minimum 2mm gap on sides, top and bottom of oven is recommended in order to
improve circulation around the oven.
Underbench Installation
An opening cutout below the oven is required to ensure effective oven cooling. Fig. 1.
Dimensions of this opening are clearly noted
in each individual oven specification.
It is critical that the cabinet construction does not obstruct the
air flow from the bottom to top via the oven cavity. Fig. 2. This allows the natural
convection that occurs, to cool the oven and cabinet cavity.
The entrance opening in the bottom part of the cabinet must measure at least 200cm

.
Column Installation
The rear opening from entrance to exit should measure at least 200cm

to ensure
proper air flow resulting in effective oven and cabinetry cooling. Fig.3.

Refer to individual oven specifications
for dimensions of the cutout
recommended, with the space
underneath remaining void for effective
heat disbursement.
