Thisqualityproductiswarrantedtobefreefrommanufacturer'sdefectsin materiaIandworkmanship,providedthattheunitisusedunderthenormaloperating
conditionsintendedbythemanufacturer.
ThiswarrantyisavailableonlytothepersontowhomtheunitwasoriginallysoldbyDanbyorby anauthorizeddistributorofDanby,andisnon-transferable.
TERMSOFWARRANTY
Plasticparts(ie.evaporatordoor,doorrails,coversandtraysarewarrantedforthirty(30)daysonlyfrompurchasedate,withnoextensionsprovided.
FirstYear Duringthefirstyear(1), anyelectricalpartsofthisproductfoundtobedefective,includinganysealedsystemunits,willberepairedor
replaced,atwarrantoCsoption,at nochargetothe ORIGINALpurchaser.Consumableparts(ie.lightbulbs)arenotwarrantedor
guaranteedforanylengthoftime.
SecondThrough Duringthenextfouryears(4)anypartofthesealedsystemfoundtobedefective(consistingofcompressor,condenser,evaporator,
FifthYear dryerandallrelatedtubing)willbereplacedwithoutcharge. ThepurchasershaIIpayfor alllaborandreturnfreightduringthisfouryear
(4)periodfor repairor replacementofanysealedsystemcomponents.Anyunitbeingdiagnosedasnon-functionaldueto sealed
systemfailureandwarrantinganexchangeduringtheexistingfour(4)yearswillbesubjectto anappropriatedepreciationoruserfee,
includinganyandallfreightchargesbeingleviedagainsttheconsumer.
ToObtainService Danbyreservesthe righttolimitboundariesof"In HomeService"duetotheproximityofanAuthorizedServiceDepot. Anyappliance
requiringserviceoutsidetheLimitedBoundariesof"InHomeService",it willbethecustomer'sresponsibilitytotransporttheappliance
totheclosestAuthorizedServiceDepotattheirownexpense.Contactyourdealerfromwhomyourunitwas purchased,orcontactyour
nearestauthorizedDanbyservicedepot,whereservicemustbeperformedbyaqualifiedservicetechnician.Ifserviceisperformedon
theunitsbyanyoneotherthananauthorizedservicedepot,or theunitis usedforcommercialapplication,allobligationsofDanbyunder
thiswarrantyshallbeat anend.
Thefollowingclauserefersto singleanddoubledoorrefrigerators,suppliedwithorwithoutaseparatefreezersection.NothingwithinthiswarrantyshaIIimply
thatDanbywill beresponsibleor Iiabieforanyspoilageor damagetofoodorothercontentsofthisap#iance,whetherduetoanydefectoftheappliance,orits
use,whetherproperor improper.
EXCLUSIONS
Saveas hereinprovided,DanbyProductsLimited(Canada)or DanbyProductsInc.(U.S.A.),therearenootherwarranties,conditions,representationsor
guarantees,expressor implied,madeorintendedby DanbyProductsLimitedoritsauthorizeddistributorsandallotherwarranties,conditions,representationsor
guarantees,includinganywarranties,conditions,representationsorguaranteesunderanySaleofGoodsActor likelegislationorstatueisherebyexpressly
excluded.Saveashereinprovided,DanbyProductsLimited(Canada)or DanbyProductsInc.(U.S.A),shallnot beresponsibleforanydamagesto personsor
property,includingtheunititself,howsoevercausedoranyconsequentialdamagesarisingfromthemalfunctionoftheunitandbythepurchaseoftheunit,the
purchaserdoesherebyagreetoindemnifyandsaveharmlessDanbyProductsLimitedfromanyclaimfordamagesto personsor propertycausedby theunit.

Nowarrantyorinsurancehereincontainedor setoutshallapplywhendamageorrepairiscausedby anyofthefolIowing:
1) PowerFailure.
2) Damageintransitorwhenmovingtheappliance.
3) Improperpowersupplysuchaslowvoltage,defectivehousewiringorinadequatefuses.
4) Accident,alteration,abuseormisuseof theappIiancesuchasinadequateaircirculationintheroomorabnormaloperatingconditions,
(extremelyhighorlow roomtemperature).
5) Useforcommercialor industrialpurposes.
6) Fire,waterdamage,theft,war,riot,hostility,actsof Godsuchas hurricanes,floodsetc.
7) Servicecallsresultingincustomereducation.
