To reduce risk of tipping of the appli!
ancefrom abnormalusageor byexces-
siveloadingofthe ovendoor,the appli-
ance must be secure by a properly in-
stalledanti-tip device.
Tocheck if device is properly installed, look
underneath rangewith a flashlight to make
sure one of the rear levelinglegs is properly
engaged in the bracket slot.The anti-tip de-
vice secures the rear leveting legto thefloor
whenproperlyengaged.Youshouldcheckthis
anytimethe range has been moved.
IHCASEOFFIRE
Turnoffapplianceandventilatinghoodtoavoid
spreading the flame. Extinguish flame then
turn on hood to remove smokeand odor.
>Cooktop: Smother fire or flame in a pan
with a lid or cookie sheet.
NEVER pick up or movea flaming pan.
>Oven: Smotherfireorflame byclosingthe
ovendoor.
Do notusewateron greasefires.Use baking
soda,adrychemicalorfoam-typeextinguisher
to smotherfire or flame.
