This dryer must be properly installed and located in accordance with the Installation Instructions
before it is used. tf blou did not receive an Installation Instructions sheet, you can receive one by
visiting ge.com, or bg calling 800.GE.CARES (800.432.2737).
• Properlyground dryer to conform with all
governing codes and ordinances.Follow details
in Installation Instructions.
• Installorstorewhere it will not beexposed
to temperatures below freezing or exposed
to the weatheE
• Connectto a properly rated, protected and sized
power supply circuit to avoid electrical overload.
• Removethe colored protective filmfrom both
the control panel and the dooE
• Removeallsharp packing items and dispose
of all shipping materials properly.
• Donot removethe ventprotector from the back
of the dryer {on some models).
• Pullthe protector out and down to itslowest
position and connect the exhaust duct to the drgeE
Thelowered protector will prevent the duct from
getting crushed (onsome models).
Exhaust/Ducting:

prevent large amounts of moisture and lint from
being blown into the room.
