The temperature in the appliance is controlled by the electronic control located
on the front face, at the bottom right hand side. Use the up and down controls
to set the temperature, the temperature will go up and down in increments of
1°C . If no button is pressed within 5 seconds, the temperature shown on the
display will be the temperature that is set.
The freezer has a temperature range of -18°C and -24°C. Under normal
conditions the temperature control should be set to -20 °C. We recommend that
the door is not opened for a minimum of 4 hours to allow the appliance to reach
the standard operating temperature.
Super FRZ
The freezer has a Super FRZ (Super Freeze at -30 °C) setting, this function should
be used as a rapid freeze setting and is beneficial when freezing large amounts
of food and preventing the loss of nutrients. Set this function 3 hours before a
large amount of food is placed in the freezer. The temperature control will
automatically revert back to its previous setting after a period of 26 hours.
Lock
To activate and deactivate the control panel lock, press and hold the up and
down controls together for 3 seconds.
