1 Important instructions for safety
and environment
Ths secton contans safety nstructons that wll help
protect from rsk of personal njury or property damage.
Falure to follow these nstructons shall vod any warranty.
1.1 General safety
• The dryer can be used by chldren at and above 8
years old and by persons whose physcal, sensory or
mental capabltes were not fully developed or who
lack experence and knowledge provded that they are
supervsed or traned on the safe usage of the product
and the rsks t brngs out. Chldren should not play wth
the product. Cleanng and mantenance works should not
be performed by chldren unless they are supervsed by
someone.
• Chldren of less than 3 years should be kept away unless
contnously supervsed.
• Adjustable feet should not be removed. The gap between
the dryer and the floor should not be reduced wth
materals such as carpet, wood and tape. Ths wll cause
problems wth the dryer.
• Always have the nstallaton and reparng procedures
carred out by the Authorzed Servce. Manufacturer
shall not be held lable for damages that may arse from
procedures carred out by unauthorzed persons.
• Never wash the dryer by sprayng or pourng water onto t!
There s the rsk of electrc shock!
For the products wth a steam functon:
• Use only dstlled water or water condensed n the water
tank of the machne n steam programs. Do not use mans
water or addtves. When usng condensed water n the
water tank, t should be fltered and cleared of fbres.
• Do not open the door when steam programs are runnng.
Hot water may be expelled.

• Before puttng laundry n a steam program, stans on t
should be removed.
• You may only put laundry that s not drty or staned
but permeated wth unpleasant odour n steam (odour
removal) program.
• Do not use any dry cleanng sets or addtonal materals n
a steam program or n any program.
1.1.1 Electrcal safety
A
Electrcal safety nstructons should be followed
whle electrcal connecton s made durng the
nstallaton.

The applance must not be suppled through an
external swtchng devce, such as a tmer,or
connected to a crcut that s regularly swtched on
and off by utlty.
• Connect the dryer to a grounded outlet protected by a
fuse at the value specfed on the type label. Have the
groundng nstallaton performed by a qualfed electrcan.
Our company shall not be lable for any damages that
wll arse when the dryer s used wthout groundng n
accordance wth the local regulatons.
• The voltage and allowed fuse protecton s stated on the
type label plate.
• The voltage specfed on the type label must be equal to
your mans voltage.
• Unplug the dryer when t s not n use.
• Unplug the dryer from the mans durng nstallaton,
mantenance, cleanng and repar works.
• Do not touch the plug wth wet hands! Never unplug by
pullng on the cable, always pull out by grabbng the plug.

• Do not use extenson cords, mult-plugs or adaptors to
connect the dryer to power supply n order to decrease the
rsk of fre and electrc shock.
• Power cable plug must be easly accessble after
nstallaton.

1.1.2 Product safety
Superheatng of the clothes nsde of the dryer can
occur f you cancel the programme or n the event
of a power falure whlst the dryer s runnng, ths
concentraton of heat can cause self-combuston and
fre so always actvate the ventlaton programme
to cool down or quckly remove all laundry from the
dryer n order to hang them up and dsspate the
heat.
Ponts to be taken nto consderaton for fre
hazard:
Below specfed laundry or tems must not be dred n
the dryer consderng fre hazard.
• Unwashed laundry tems
• Items soled wth ol, acetone, alcohol, fuel ol,
kerosene, stan removers, turpentne, paraffn or
paraffn removers must be washed n hot water
wth plenty of detergent before beng dred n the
dryer.
For ths reason especally the tems contanng the
above specfed stans must be washed very well, to
do ths use adequate detergent and choose a hgh
washng temperature.

Below specified laundry or items must not be dried in the
dryer due to the fire hazard:
• Garments or pllows bolstered wth rubber foam
(latex foam), shower bonnets, water resstant
textles, materals wth rubber renforcement and
rubber foam pads.
• Clothng cleaned wth ndustral chemcals.
Items such as lghter, match, cons, metal parts,
needle etc. may damage the drum set or may lead to
functonal problems. Therefore check all the laundry
that you wll load nto your dryer.
Never stop your dryer before the programme
completes. If you must do ths, remove all laundry
quckly and lay them out to dsspate the heat.
Clothes that are washed nadequately may gnte on
ther own and even may gnte after dryng ends.
Ol-affected tems can gnte spontaneously,
especally when exposed to heat sources such as n
a tumble dryer. The tems become warm, causng an
oxdaton reacton n the ol. Oxdaton creates heat.
If the heat cannot escape, the tems can become hot
enough to catch fre. Plng, stackng or storng ol-
affected tems can prevent heat from escapng and
so create a fre hazard.
If t s unavodable that fabrcs that contan vegetable
or cookng ol or have been contamnated by har care
products be placed n a tumble dryer they should frst
be washed n hot water wth extra detergent - ths
wll reduce, but not elmnate, the hazard.
• You must provde enough ventlaton n order to prevent
gases extng from devces operatng wth other types of
fuels ncludng the naked flame from accumulatng n the
room due to the back fre effect.

A
Underwear that contans metal renforcements
should not be dred n the dryer. Dryer may be
damaged f metal renforcements come loose and
break off durng dryng.

Use softeners and smlar products n accordance
wth the nstructons of ther manufacturers.

Always clean the lnt flter before or after each
loadng. Never operate the dryer wthout the lnt
flter nstalled.
• Never attempt to repar the dryer by yourself. Do not
perform any repar or replacement procedures on the
product even f you know or have the ablty to perform
the requred procedure unless t s clearly suggested n the
operatng nstructons or the publshed servce manual.
Otherwse, you wll be puttng your lfe and others’ lves n
danger.
• There must not be a lockable, sldng or hnged door that
may block the openng of the loadng door n the place
where your dryer s to be nstalled.
• Install your dryer at places sutable for home use.
(Bathroom, closed balcony, garage etc.)
• Make sure that pets do not enter the dryer. Check the
nsde of the dryer before operatng t.
• Do not lean on the loadng door of your dryer when t s
open, otherwse t may fall over.
• The lnt must not be allowed to accumulate around the
tumble dryer
• The tumble dryer s not to be used f ndustral chemcals
have been used for cleanng.
• Fabrc softeners, or smlar products.should be used as
specfed by the fabrc softener nstructons.

• Exhaust ar must not be dscharged nto a flue whch s
used for exhaustng fumes from applances burnng gas or
other fuels.
• The fnal step of the dryng cycle (cool-down cycle) occurs
wthout applyng heat to ensure that the tems are left at a
temperature that wll not damage them.
1.2 Mountng over a washng machne
• A fxng devce should be used between the two machnes
when nstallng the dryer above a washng machne. The
fttng devce must be nstalled by the authorzed servce
agent.
• Total weght of the washng machne and the dryer -wth
full load- when they are placed on top of each other
reaches to approx. 180 klograms. Place the products on a
sold floor that has suffcent load carryng capacty!

Washng machne cannot be placed on the dryer.

1.3 Intended use
• Dryer has been desgned for domestc use. It s not sutable
for commercal use and t must not be used out of ts
ntended use.
• Use the dryer only for dryng laundry that are marked
accordngly.
• The manufacturer waves any responsblty arsen from
ncorrect usage or transportaton.
• The servce lfe of the dryer that you purchased s 10 years.
Durng ths perod, orgnal spare parts wll be avalable to
operate the dryer properly.
1.4 Chld safety
• Packagng materals are dangerous for the chldren. Keep
packagng materals away from chldren.
• Electrcal products are dangerous for the chldren. Keep
chldren away from the product when t s operatng. Do
not let them tamper wth the dryer. Use the chld-proof
lock n order to prevent the chldren to tamper wth the
dryer.

1.5 Complance wth the WEEE regulaton

It is the customers responsibility to arrange a
suitably qualified installer to correctly install
this product.

Preparation of location and
electrical installation for the
product is under customer’s
responsibility.

Installation and electrical
connections must be carried out
by a qualified personnel.

Prior to installation, visually check
if the product has any defects on
it. If so, do not have it installed.
Damaged products will cause
risks for your safety.
3.1 Appropriate installation
location
• Install the product in an environment
which has no risk of freezing and is in a
stable and level position.
• Operate your product in a well ventilated,
dust-free environment.
• Do not block the air ducts in front of and
under the product with materials such as
long pile rugs and wooden planks.
• Do not place your product on a long pile
rug or on similar surfaces.
• Do not install the product behind a door
with a lock, sliding door or a hinged door
which can strike the product.
• Once the product is installed, it should
stay at the same place where its
connections have been made. When
installing the product, make sure that the
rear wall of it does not touch anywhere
(tap, socket, etc.) and also pay attention
to install the product at a place where it
will stay permanently.

• Keep at least 1.5 cm distance to walls of
other furniture.
• The rear surface of the tumble dryer shall
be placed against a wall
3 Installation
3.2 Under counter installation
• A special part (Part no: 295 970 0100)
replacing the top trim must be provided
and installed by the suitably qualified
installer in order to use the machine
under a counter or in a cupboard. It should
never be operated without the top trim.
• Leave at least 3 cm of space between the
side and rear walls of the product and
the walls of the counter/cupboard when
installing your product under a counter or
in a cupboard.
3.3 Ventilation hose and
connection (for products
equipped with an outlet vent)
Ventilation hose allows exhaust air from
inside the machine
Vented dryer has 1 air outlet.
Stainless sheet metal or aluminum pipes can
be used instead of a hose. The pipe diameter
should be minimum 10 cm.
Maximum hose and pipe lengths are given in
the table below.

1. Connect the air outlet hose to the
hose spacer piece by turning it
counterclockwise.
2. Make the hose passages as shown below.

Exhaust of humid air from
the dryer into the room is
inconvenient. It may damage the
walls and furniture in the room.

The ventilation hose can be
routed outdoors via a window
or it can be connected to the air
outlet in the bathroom.

the hose, make sure that it is not
folded on the floor.

be connected to the chimney of a
stove or a fireplace.

Do not operate your product at
the same time with heaters such
as a coal or gas stove. Airflow may
cause the chimney to flare up.
3.4 Adjusting feet
In order to ensure that your product operates
more silently and vibration-free, it must
stand level and balanced on its feet. Front
feet of your product can be adjusted. Balance
the machine by adjusting the feet.
1. Loosen the feet by hand.
2. Adjust the feet until the product stands
level and firmly on the floor.

Do not use any tools to loosen the
adjustable feet, otherwise, they
can be damaged.

Never remove the adjustable feet
from their housings.

You may supply 2 plastic pieces
from an Authorized Service with
2951620100 part number. These
parts prevent your machine
from slipping when the machine
locates on wet and slippery
surfaces. You may assemble
mentioned parts to the front
adjustable feet by fitting and
pressing them to snap into
ground of feet
3.5 Electrical connection
For specic instructions for electrical connec-
tion required during installation (see 1.1.1
Electrical Safety)
3.6 First use
• To have the product ready for operation
before calling the suitably qualified
installer, make sure that its location
and power supply installations are
appropriate. If they are not, call a qualified
electrician to have any necessary
arrangements carried out.
• Make sure that the power connections of
the product are in accordance with the
instructions given in relevant chapters of
this manual.
3.7 Transportation of the
machine
1. Unplug the machine from the mains.
2. Remove the water drain (if any) and
chimney connections.
3. Drain water remaining in the machine
completely before transportation.
3.8 Changing the illumination
lamp
In case an illumination lamp is used in your
laundry dryer.To change the Bulb/LED used
for illumination of your tumble dryer, call your
Authorized Service.
The lamp(s) used in this appliance is not suit-
able for household room illumination. The
intended purpose of this lamp is to assist the
user to place laundry in the tumble dryer in a
comfortable way. The lamps used in this ap-
pliance have to withstand extreme physical
conditions such as vibrations and tempera-
tures above 50 °C

4 Preparation
4.2 Laundry not suitable for
drying in the dryer

Delicate embroidered fabrics,
woolen, silk garments, delicate
and valuable fabrics, airtight
items and tulle curtains are not
suitable for machine drying.
4.3 Preparing laundry for
drying
• Laundry may be tangled with each other
after washing. Separate the laundry
items before placing them into the dryer.
• Dry garments having metal accessories
such as zippers, inside out.
• Fasten the zippers, hooks and buckles
and button sheets.
4.4 Things to be done for
energy saving
Following information will help you use the
dryer in an ecological and energy-ecient
manner.
• Spin your laundry at the highest speed
possible when washing them. Thus, the
drying time is shortened and energy
consumption is reduced.
• Sort out the laundry depending on their
type and thickness. Dry the same type
of laundry together. For example thin
kitchen towels and table clothes dries
earlier than thick bathroom towels.
• Follow the instructions in the user
manual for programme selection.
• Do not open the loading door of the
machine during drying unless necessary.
If you must certainly open the loading
door, do not to keep it open for a long
time.
• Do not add wet laundry while the dryer is
in operation

• Clean the lint filter before or after each
drying cycle. (See 6.1 Filter Cartridge /
Door Inner Surface)
• Clean the condenser regularly at
least once every month or after every
30 drying cycles. (See 6.4 For the
condenser;)
• Ventilate the room, where the dryer is
located, well during drying.
4.5 Correct load capacity
Follow the instructions in the “Programme
selection and consumption table”. Do not
load more than the capacity values stated in
the table.

It is not recommended to load
the dryer with laundry exceeding
the level indicated in the figure.
Drying performance will degrade
when the machine is overloaded.
Furthermore, dryer and the laundry
can get damaged.

5 Selecting a Program and Operating Your Machine
5.1 Control panel
1. Filter cleaning warning light
Warning light turns on when the filter is
full.
2. Program follow-up indicator
Used to follow-up the progress of the
current programme.
3. Cancel audio warning
Used to cancel the audio warning given at
the end of programme.
4. On/Off button
Used to turn on and off the machine.
5. Programme selection knob
Used to select a programme.
6. Start/Pause/Cancel button
Used to start, pause or cancel the
programme.

5.2 Preparing the machine
1. Plug n your machne.
2. Place the laundry n the machne.
3. Press the “On/Off” button.

5.3 Program selection
Decide the appropriate program from
the table below which includes drying
temperature in degrees. Select the desired
program with the program selection button.
Extra dry
Dry at high temperature
only for cotton laundry.
Thick and multi layered
laundry (E.g.: towels,
linens, jeans) are dried
in a way that they do not
require ironing before
placing in the wardrobe.

5.4 Main programs
Depending on the type of textile, the
following main programs are available:
• Cottons
You can dry your durable clothes with this
program. Dries at a higher temperature.
It is recommended to use for your cotton
items (such as bed sheets, quilt cover,
underclothing, etc.).
• Synthetics
You can dry your less durable clothes with
this program. It dries at a lower temperature
compared to the cottons program. It is
recommended for your synthetic clothes
(such as shirts, blouses, synthetic/cotton
blended garments, etc.).

Do not dry curtans and lace n your
machne.
• Anti-creasing
A 2-hour anti creasing program to prevent
laundry from creasing will be activated if
you do not take the laundry out after the
program has come to an end. This program
rotates the laundry in 10 minutes intervals to
prevent creasing.
5.4 Special programs
For special cases, there are also extra
programs available:

Addtonal programs may dffer
accordng to the model of your
machne.
• Delicates
You can dry at a lower temperature your
very delicate laundry (silk blouses, fine
underwear, etc.) that are suitable for drying
or laundry which is advised to be hand-
washed.

It s recommended to use a cloth bag
to avod certan delcate garments
and laundry from gettng creased
or damaged. Take your garments
mmedately out of the dryer and
hang them after the programme
ends n order to prevent them beng
creased.
• Ventilation
Only ventilation is performed for 10 minutes
without blowing hot air. You can air your
clothes that have been kept at closed
environments for a long time thanks to this
program to deodorize unpleasant odors.
• Timer programs
You can select one of the 10 min., 20 min.,
40 min. and 60 min. timer programs to
achieve the desired final drying level at low
temperatures. Program dries at the selected
time regardless of the drying level.

If more than one LED lght up or
flash concurrently, t means there s
malfunctonng or a falure (please
see, Soluton suggestons for
problems).
5.9 Changing the program after
the program has started
You can use this feature to dry your clothes
under higher or lower temperatures after
your dryer has started.
For example;
1. Press and hold the “Start/Pause/Cancel”
button for about 3 seconds to “Cancel”
the programme n order to select “Extra
Dry” programme nstead of “Iron Dry”
programme.
2. Select the “Extra Dry” programme by
rotatng the programme selecton button.

5.6 Auxiliary function
Buzzer Cancel Models Equiped
Your machine will send out an buzzer
warning when the program comes to an end.
If you do not want to hear this buzzing, you
need to press the “Cancel Audio Warning”
button. The relevant LED will light up when
this button is pressed and an audio warning
will not be given when the program comes to
an end.

5.7 Starting the programme
1. Press “Start/Pause/Cancel” button to
start the programme.

5.8 Progress of program
Progress of a running program is shown
through the program follow-up indicator.
At the beginning of every program step, the
relevant indicator LED will light up and light
of the completed step will turn off.
“Drying”:
- Dryng level wll be llumnated durng the
whole dryng process untl the dryng
degree reaches “ Ready to Iron “.
“ Ready to Iron “:
- Starts to llumnate when the dryng degree
reaches “ Ready to Iron “ step and remans
llumnated untl the next step.
“ Ready to Wear “:
- Starts to llumnate when the dryng
degree reaches “ Ready to Iron “ step and
remans llumnated untl the next step.
“Final / Anti-creasing”:
- Illumnates when the program comes to an
end and ant-creasng functon s actvated.

Adding/removing laundry in standby
mode
In order to add or remove laundry after the
programme starts:
1. Press the “Start/Pause/Cancel” button to
switch the dryer to “Pause” mode. Drying
process will stop.
2. Open the door at “Pause” position and
close it again after adding or taking out
laundry.
3. Press “Start/Pause/Cancel” button to
start the programme.

Any laundry added after the drying
process has started may cause
the dried clothes in the machine
intermingle with wet clothes and the
result will be wet laundry after the
drying process is over.

Laundry may be added or taken
out as much as desired during a
drying process, but this process will
extend the programme duration
and increase energy consumption
since the drying will be interrupted
continuously. Therefore, it is
recommended to add laundry before
the drying programme has started.
5.10 Child-proof lock
There is a childproof lock to prevent any
program interruption due to the pressing of
keys while the program is on. The loading
door and all keys except the “On/Off” key on
the panel are deactivated when the child-
proof lock is active.
In order to activate the childproof lock, press
on the “Start/Pause/Cancel” and “Cancel
audio warning” buttons simultaneously for 3
seconds.
To start a new program after the program
is over or to interrupt the program, the
childproof lock should be deactivated. To
deactivate the childproof lock, press the
same buttons for 3 sec.

Child-proof lock is deactivated when
the machine is restarted by pressing
the On/Off button.

Press the relevant buttons for 3
seconds to activate the child-proof
lock. A long beep will be heard
and the child-proof lock will be
activated. A double beep will be
heard if you press any button or
turn the programme selection knob
while the child-proof lock is active.

through canceling
To cancel any selected programme;
Press “Start/Pause/Cancel” button for about
3 seconds. The “Filter cleaning”, “Water tank”
and “End/ Anti-creasing” warning lights
will turn on at the end of this period for
reminding purposes.

5.12 End of program
The “End/Anti-creasing”, “Filter cleaning”
and “Water tank” warning lights on the
programme follow up indicator will turn
on when the programme comes to an end.
The door can be opened and the machine
becomes ready for a second cycle.
Press “On/Off” button to turn off the dryer.

Final step of the drying cycle (cooling
step) is performed without heat
application in order to keep the items
at a temperature that would not
harm them.

A 2-hour anti creasing programme
to prevent laundry from creasing will
be activated if you do not take the
laundry out after the programme has
come to an end.

If you will not take the laundry
out immediately, do not stop the
dryer before the drying process is
complete.

6 Maintenance and cleaning
6.1 Filter Cartridge / Door Inner
Surface
Lint and fibres released from the laundry to
the air during the drying cycle are collected in
the “Filter Cartridge”.

Always clean the flter and the
nner surfaces of the cover after
each dryng process.

You can clean the filter and filter
area by vacuum cleaner.
To clean the filter:
1. Open the loading door.
2. Remove the cover filter by pulling it up and
open the filter.
3. Clean lint, fibre, and cotton raveling by
hand or with a soft piece of cloth.
4. Close the filter and place it back into
itsseat.

Clogging may arise on the filter
surface after using your machine
for some time; if this occurs, wash
the filter with water and dry it
before using again.

Clean the entire inner surface of
the cover and door gasket.
6.2 Sensor (models equipped
with a sensor)
There are humidity sensors in your machine
that detect whether the laundry is dry or not.
For sensor cleaning;
1. Open the door of the machine.
2. Allow the machine to cool off if drying has
been carried out.
3. Wipe the metal sensors with a soft cloth,
dampened with vinegar and dry them.

Drying process takes too much time
• The filter mesh may be clogged. Wash with water.
Laundry come out wet at the end of drying.
• The filter mesh may be clogged. Wash with water.
• Excessive laundry might have been loaded in. Do not overload the machine.
Machine does not switch on or the program does not start. Machine is not activated when
set.
• It might have not been plugged in. Make sure that the machine is plugged in.
• The loading door may be ajar. Make sure that the loading door is properly closed.
• Program might have not been set or the «Start/Pause/Cancel» button might have not
been pressed. Make sure that the program has been set and it is not in “Pause” mode.
• «Childproof lock» might have been activated. Deactivate the childproof lock.
• The condenser cover on the models with a condenser might not be closed securely. Make
sure that the condenser cover and the red lock is closed securely.
Program has been interrupted without any cause.
• The loading door may be ajar. Make sure that the loading door is properly closed.
• Electricity may be cut off. Press «Start/Pause/Cancel» button to start the program.
• The condenser cover on the models with a condenser might not be closed securely. Make
sure that the condenser cover and the red lock is closed securely.
Laundry has shrunk, become felted or deteriorated.
• A program suitable for the laundry type might have not been used. Dry only the laundry
which is suitable for drying in your machine after checking the labels on your clothes.
• Select a program with suitable low temperature for the laundry type to dry your clothes.
Drum lighting does not come on. (for models equipped with a lamp)
• The machine might have not been started by using the On/Off button. Make sure that the
machine is On.
• Bulb may have blown. Call Beko service to arrange for the bulb to be replaced.
• The condenser cover on the models with a condenser might not be closed securely. Make
sure that the condenser cover and the red lock is closed securely.
2 beeps heard when the buttons are pressed or the program selection knob is turned.
• Childproof lock» might have been activated. Deactivate the childproof lock.
• Program selection knob might be turned to an undefined position. Select one of the
defined programs.
“Filter cleaning” light is flashing.
• Filter might have not been cleaned. Clean the cover filter.
“Final / Anti-creasing” LED is on.
• Program has come to an end. Turn off the machine and take out the laundry.
3 beeps are heard when you press the Start/Pause/Cancel button
• The loading door may be ajar. Make sure that the machine is plugged in.
• Make sure that the condenser cover and the red lock is closed securely.
Also for products equipped with a condenser:
“Water tank” warning LED is flashing.
• Water may be full.
• Drain the water in the water tank.
