SHELF HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
The height of the shelves can be adjusted. Arrange the shelves to suit the dimensions of the items to be
placed in the unit.
To prevent damaging the door gaskets, make sure to have the door(s) all the way open when pulling the
shelves out of the rail compartments.
When removing a shelf from the inner rails, make sure to remove all shelf contents first.
PLACING ITEMS IN THE UNIT
The beverage merchandiser employs a system of forced circulation of cold air. If this circulation is
obstructed, items will not be adequately refrigerated. Take note of the following points:
Do not let items obstruct the cold air inlet and suction outlet.
Place items so that they do not protrude beyond the shelves. The gap between the shelves and
the doors is intentional, and is designed to allow free circulation of cold air.
Arrange items evenly on all shelves.
Do not display items on the floor of the interior cabinet. Items must be placed on the shelves.
INTERIOR LIGHT
The unit is equipped with an interior light which is controlled by the green toggle switch below the door.
SELF-CLOSING DOORS
The right-hand sliding door of model SCR700 closes automatically. On model SCR7012D, both swing-out
doors close automatically.
DOOR LOCK
Model SCR700 has two sliding glass doors which can be locked with a single key. Model SCR7012D has
two swing-out glass doors, each of which can be locked separately.
The keys are located inside the plastic bag that contains the Instruction Manual. Keep the keys in a
secure location.
FOR MOST EFFICIENT USE
Be sure the unit is installed in a well-ventilated area. Never cover air vents.
The appliance should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from heat-producing
appliances and out of direct sunlight.
To minimize the escape of cold air, open and close the doors quickly, and do not keep the doors open
any longer than necessary.
