TROUBLESHOOTING CHART:

PROBLEM
Loss of power
CAUSE
1 Cutting too much grass/too fast.
2 Throttle in "CHOKE" position.
3 Build-up of grass, leaves and

1 Raise cutting height/reducespeed.
2 Adjust throttle control.
3 Clean underside of mower

1 Obstruction in clutch mechanism.
2 Worn/damaged mower drive belt.

13 Check all wiring.

Service and Adjustments section.

Replace blade. Tighten blade bolt.

service center.
3 Tighten loose part(s). Replace
damaged parts.
Check wiring, switches and
connections. If not corrected,
contact a Sears or other service
