a. Do I have to vent the hot air out?
Yes, the hot air has to be vented outside through the exhaust hose. If you don’t connect
the exhaust hose, your unit will exhaust hot air into the room that you are trying to cool.
b. Do I have to drain the collected water?
TOSOT portable air conditioner comes with the auto-evaporation system. The unit can
automatically evaporate the condensate. There is no need to empty the water except in
humid conditions. When you run the dry mode, then it is required to install the hose as
the unit might pull more water from the air.
a. Allow the unit to sit upright for at least 3-4 hours before powering on to allow the refrigerant
to stabilize.
b. You can manually adjust the air vent on the front of the unit to adjust the direction of airflow.
c. Check the power plug and cord before operation to make sure it is not damaged.
d. Always perform a test of the LCDI plug before use.
