IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. Read all instructions.
2. This accessory is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they are closely supervised and instructed concerning use of
the accessory by a person responsible for their safety.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used
by or near children. Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
4. Always refer to your slow cooker’s use and care guide for
safe operation of the appliance.
5. Only use the caddy with slow cookers.
6. Always remove slow cooker from caddy first; then plug cord
into the wall outlet.
7. The food must be cooked according the instructions in
the slow cooker use and care guide to ensure safe food
temperatures.
8. Do not touch hot surfaces.
9. To maintain a safe food temperature, place slow cooker with
cover into the caddy as soon as food is thoroughly cooked
according the recipe. Secure the slow cooker as instructed.
10. To maintain safe food temperatures, do not leave slow
cooker in caddy longer than 2 hours before serving. If the
caddy is exposed to cold temperatures, this time will be
shortened.
11. To avoid spills, always use and secure the slow cooker
cover when transporting. Do not overfill the crock.
12. To reduce spills or leaking, the slow cooker must be
completely secured as instructed and the caddy should be
kept stable and level.
13. Remove the cover of the slow cooker carefully to avoid
scalding from escaping steam or condensation.
14. Do not place the caddy in any oven or microwave oven.
