witha softdryclothandtheinsidewitha wet,lukewarmcloth.Avoid
placingthecabinetina narrowrecessor nearanyheatsource,direct
sunlight,or moisture. Let air circulatefreely aroundthe cabinet.
Keepthe rearoftherefrigerator5 inchesawayfromthewall.

1. Selecta placewithastrong,levelfloor.
2. Allow5 inchesofspacebetweenthe backoftherefrigeratorand
anyadjacentwall.
3. Avoiddirect sunlightand heat. Directsunlightmay affectthe
acryliccoating. Heatsourcesnearbywillcausehigherelectricity
consumption.
4. Avoidverymoistplaces.Toomuchmoisturein theairwillcause
frostto formveryquicklyontheevaporator,andyourrefrigerator
willhavetobedefrostedmorefrequently.
Toavoidvibration,the cabinetmust be setlevel. This is accomplishedby
adjustingthe(2)frontlevelinglegslocatedundertherefrigeratorcabinet.To
starttherefrigerator,turnthetemperaturecontrol(OFF-MAX)tothe position
correspondingtothe desiredcooling, ffTg..4)
OFF= No Cooling
1= Minimum Cooling
4=MediumCooling
MAX=MaximumCooling
Therefrigeratortemperaturewillvarydependingonthequantityofthe
foodstoredandonthefrequencywithwhichthedoorisopened.

Defrosting
Thisrefrigeratorisequippedwitha "PushButton"(semi-automatic)
defrostthermostatsystemwhichmeansnoneedto unplugthe
refrigeratorandnoneedto changethetemperaturesettingbefore
initiatingthedefrostcycle.
Beforestartingthedefrostcyclemakesure;
1.thedefrosttrayisproperlypositioneddiredlybelowthe
freezercompartment.
2.thedefrosttraybafflelocatedinsidethedefrosttray(at
rear)isintheopenposition.(fullyextended)
Thishelpstodirectdefrostwaterrunningoffthebackof
thefreezercompartmentintothedefrosttray.
3.thedraincapissecurelyattachedtothedefrosttray
drain.(undersideofthetray)
Toactivatethedefrostcycle,simplypush(in)the"red"defrostbutton
locatedinthecenterofthecontrolknob/dial.(thereisno needtoturn
thecontroldial/knobto0 = offposition)Thedefrostcyclestarts
immediatelywhenthereddefrostbuttonisactivated(pushed-in)The
defrostwateraccumulatesinsidethedefrosttray.Whendefrostingis
complete,the"red"defrostbuttonwillrelease(pop-out)automatically
andresumenormaloperating(cooling)conditions.
Todisposeoftheaccumulatedwaterfromthedefrosttray,position
theclearplasticstoragebin (upperdoorshelf)diredlyunderthe
defrosttraydrainopeningandunscrewthedraincapallowingthe
watertoflowintothecontainer.Replacethedraincapwhenthetray
iscompletelyempty.Disposeofthedefrostwater.
NOTE:Iftheredpushbutton(defrostcycle)is"accidentally"
activated,itwillnotbepossibleto"manually"pull-outthepushbutton
tostopthedefrostcycle.Youmusteitherletthedefrostcyclerunit's
courseor;
1.Apply(hold)adishclothsoakedinhotwateragainstthethermostat
capillarylineandbracket,locatedontheundersideofthefreezer
compartment.Theheattransferfromthedishclothwillcausea
temperatureriseonthethermostatcapillary,(sensingline)causing
theinternalcontactsofthethermostattocloseandresumenormal
operatingconditions.Itmaytakeseveralminutesand/orrepeat
applicationsbeforethedefrostbuttonwillrelease.
Defrostingofyourrefrigeratorshouldtakeplacewhenevertheice
build-up(accumulation)insidethefreezercompartmentreachesa
thicknessof114"(6ram).Defrostingmaytakea fewhours,depending
ontheamountofaccumulatediceandambientindoortemperature.
Tospeed-upthedefrostingprocess,removeallfrozenfoodsfromthe
freezersection.Leavingthedoorpartiallyajarfora shortperiodof
timewillalsoacceleratetheprocess.
IMPORTANT:Youmustremembertoclosetherefrigeratordoor
beforethedefrostcycleterminatesandnormaloperatingconditions
resumeautomatically.
IMPORTANTNOTICE:Neverusesharporpointedinstrumentsto
defrost/removeicefromtheevaporator/freezercompartment.The
evaporator/freezercompartmentcontainsrefrigeratedgaslinesandif
punched/pierced,willrendertherefrigeratorinoperableand"void"the
manufacturerswarranty.
DONOTALLOWTHEREFRIGERATORTOCONTINUE
