before using your Kenwood appliance
1. Read these instructions carefully and retain for future
reference.
2. Remove all packaging and any labels.

3. Avoid contact with steam coming out of the spout area
when pouring and out of the lid when refilling.
4. Keep small children away from the kettle and never let the
cord hang down over the worktop edge -a child could grab
it and pull the kettle down.
5. Never overfill -boiling water may splash out.
6. Never put the kettle, cord or plug in liquid.
7. Always unplug your kettle when not in use.
8. Do not use if there is any damage to the kettle, cord or
plug. Get it checked or repaired: see ‘service’.
9. Caution: Do not operate the kettle on an inclined surface.
10. Make sure the lid is secure before switching the kettle
on.
11. Warning: Do not open the lid while the water is boiling.
12. Make sure the kettle is switched off before lifting or
pouring.
13. Unplug the kettle before filling or pouring.
14. Never put the kettle near or on cooker hot plates or gas
burners.
15. This kettle is for boiling water only.
