Taking the oven out of the housing
unit
The oven is large and heavy.
Oven removal should always be
performed by two people.
Open the top door and remove it (see
“Oven cleaning and care – Removing
the door”).
Unscrew the knurled nuts and bolts
from the front frame (see “Securing
the oven in the housing unit”).
Keep these parts in case the oven
needs to be installed again in the
future.
Pull the oven out of the housing unit
until the holes for the carry handles
are visible (1.).
Insert the carry handles into the side
walls of the bottom oven.
Insert the carry handles into the holes
at the top of the bottom side walls on
each side of the oven.
Do not carry the oven by the door
handle. This could damage the
doors.
Take the accessories out of both
oven cavities.
Take hold of the top oven underneath
the ceiling of the oven cavity with
one hand and take hold of the carry
handle on the side of the oven
casing with the other hand.
Take the oven out of the housing unit.
Turn off the water supply.
Disconnect the oven from the power
supply and the water supply.
Reinstall the door if you have
previously removed it (see “Oven
cleaning and care – Installing the
door”).
