1. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS – SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
This manual will explain how to use the coffee maker safely and effectively. Please read, understand and follow these instructions and precautions carefully, as this manual
contains important safety and operating instructions.
IMPORTANT: This coffee maker operates with 12V DC voltage only. Always start the vehicle’s engine before plugging in the coffee maker.
2. SAFEGUARDS
DO NOT USE WHILE DRIVING.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not leave the coffee maker unattended during use.
The liquid in the pot is hot. To avoid scalding, take care when handling.
If there is no water in the water tank, unplug the coffee maker to avoid possible damage to the coffee maker.
To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the cord or coffee maker in any liquid.
Only fresh, clean water should be used.
Do not use the coffee maker with a damaged cord or plug, or if the coffee maker has been dropped or damaged in any way.
Do not use the coffee maker for anything other than its intended use.
The pot is designed for use with this appliance only. It must never be used on a range top or in a microwave oven.
Do not leave the empty pot on the warming plate when the appliance is turned on, as the pot may crack or become otherwise damaged.
Do not set the hot pot on a wet or cold surface.
Do not use a cracked pot or a pot having a loose or broken handle.
After several uses, the reusable lter and water tank must be cleaned thoroughly with warm water and mild dish soap.
3. ELECTRIC SHOCK, STEAM, HEAT AND BURN SAFETY
A risk of re and electrical shock exists in all electrical appliances and may cause personal injury or death. Follow all safety instructions.
The coffee maker generates heat and escaping steam during use and will leak if knocked over. Use proper precautions to prevent the risk of burns, re or other injury to
persons or damage to property.
Do not place on, or near surfaces that can be damaged by heat or steam. Keep the cord away from hot surfaces. Always unplug the coffee maker when not in use. Allow
the coffee maker to cool before storing.
4. PLACEMENT
Place the coffee maker on a at, stable, heat resistant surface away from objects that could be damaged by heat or steam, in a location that does not interfere with the
vehicle’s operation or the safety of the occupants.
