Open the lid by pulling the lid handle out and fill the tank with
water, paying attention not to fill under the minimum mark or above
the maximum mark indicated on the water gauge of the kettle.

hear a click. Make sure it closes correctly.
Make sure the spout filter is well in position, as else the auto-shut off

The kettle may be switched to Stand-by-Mode at any time by
switching the On/Off switch to the Off position (switch up).
IMPORTANT: Place the power switch into Off position and remove
the plug from the outlet when the kettle is not in use.
CAUTION: Make sure that the lid is closed and the filter is correctly and
securely fitted before switching on the appliance. Failure to do so will
cause the kettle not to switch off!
For instant re-boiling, wait until water has cooled down and switch
on the appliance again.
The kettle will not re-boil until the kettle is switched on again.
The kettle may be stored on the power base when not in use.
