presentin an oldermodel.Theseimprovementsweremadeto createa refrigeratorthat is betterat preservingfood,
ismoreenergyefficient,andis quieteroverall.Becausenewunitsrun quieter,soundsmaybe detectedthatwere
presentin olderunits,butweremaskedbyhighersoundlevels.Manyof thesesoundsarenormal.Pleasenotethat
thesurfacesadjacentto a refrigerator,suchashardwalls,floorsandcabinetrymaymakethesesoundsseemeven
louder.Thefollowingaresomeof the normalsoundsthat maybe noticedin a newrefrigerator.

Clicking • Freezer control (A) clicks when starting or • Normal operation

snaps in and out of defrost cycle.
Air rushing • Condenser fan (D) makes this noise while • Normal operation
