Behind the Refrigerator
Be caretul when moving the reti'igerator
away fl'om the wall. All types of floor
coverings can be danmged, particularly
cushioned coverings and those with
embossed surfaces.
Tm'n the leveling legs at each fl'ont corner
of the refl_igerator com_terclockwise tmfil
the rolle_ sui)port the reti_igeratm: Pull the
refrigerator straight out and return it to
position by pushing it straight in. Moving
the refl_igerator in a side direction may
result in damage to the floor covering or
refrigeratm:
When pushing the refngerator back, make sure
you don't roll over the power cord or icemaker
supply line {on some models).
After rolling the refl'igerator back into
place, turn the legs clockwise until the
legs again bear the weight of the
refl'igera tot.
Light Bulb Replacement
To replace a burned-out bulb, unl)lug
the refl'igerator fl'om its electrical outlet,
tmscrew the bulb when cool and replace
it with an appliance bulb of the same or
lower wattage.

removepower to the lightcircuit
Preparing for Vacation
For long vacations or absences, remove
fl)od and uni)lug the refl'igerator. Move
the temperature control dial to the 0
position, and clean the interior with a
baking soda solution of one tablespoon
(15 ml) of baking soda to one qtlart
(l liter) of water. I,eave the doors open.
Set the icemaker power switch to the
0 (off) position or m_we the feeler arm to
the STOP (up) position (depending on
model) and shut off the water sui)ply to
the refl'igera tin;
If the temperatm'e can drop below
fl'eezing, have a qualified servicer drain
the water supply systeln (on SOlne
models) to prevent serious property
damage due to flooding.
Preparing to Move
Secm'e all loose items such as grille,
shelves and drawers by taping them
secm'ely in place to prevent damage.
Be sure the refrigerator stays/n an upright
position during moving.
