Toreduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons
when using your product, basic safety precautions should
be followed, includingthe following:
NEVERunplugyour refrigerator by pulling on the power cord.
Always grip the plug firmly and pull itstraight out from the outlet.
Repairor replace immediately all electric service cords that have
becomefrayed or otherwise damaged. Donot use a cord that
shows cracks or abrasion damage along its length or at either the
plug or connector end.
When moving your refrigerator away from the wall, be careful not
to roll over or damage the powercord.
DONOT store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and
liquidsin thevicinity of this or any other appliance.
DONOT allow childrento climb,stand or hang on the refrigerator
doors or shelves in the refrigerator.They could damage the
refrigeratorand seriously injure themselves.
Keepfingers out of "pinch point" areas; clearances between the
doors and cabinet are necessarily small. Be careful when you
open the doorswhen children are in the area.
Unplugyour refrigerator before cleaning or making any repairs.
NOTE:We strongly recommend that any servicing be performed
bya qualified individual.
Beforereplacing a burned-out light bulb, unplug the refrigerator or
turn off power atthe circuit breaker or fuse box in order to avoid
contact with a livewire filament. (A burned-out light bulb may
breakwhen being replaced.)
NOTE: Setting either or both controls to the OFF position does
notremove power to the light circuit.
Do not store bottles in the freezer compartment - they may
break when frozen, causing damage.
Therefrigerator-freezershouldbeso positionedthat the supply
plugis accessiblefor quick disconnectionif an accident
happens.
Forpersonalsafety,this appliancemust be properlygrounded.

movingparts ofthe ejector mechanism,or with the heating
elementthat releasesthecubes. DONOT placefingers or hands
on theautomatic icemakingmechanismwhile therefrigeratoris
pluggedin.
DO NOTrefreezefrozenfoods which havethawedcompletely.
The UnitedStatesDepartmentofAgriculture in Homeand
GardenBulletinNo. 69 says:
"...Youmay safelyrefreezefrozenfoods that have thawedif
they stillcontain ice crystalsor ifthey are still coldbelow
40 °F(4 °C)."
"...Thawedground meats,poultry,or fish that haveany off-odor
or off-colorshould notbe refrozenand shouldnot be eaten.
Thawedice creamshouldbe discarded.If theodor or colorof
anyfood ispoor or questionable,get ridof it. Thefood may be
dangerousto eat."
"Evenpartialthawingand refreezingreducesthe eatingquality
offoods, particularlyfruits, vegetablesand preparedfoods. The
eatingqualityof red meatsis affectedlessthan that of many
otherfoods.Use refrozenfoods assoonas possibleto
save as much of their quality as you can."
