Instruction Manual 368-1825
1. Connect the two pieces of the yard stake together.
2. Connect the yard stake with the timer body by rotating the yard stake into the underside of the timer body. Be sure
the stake is firmly attached to the timer body.
3. Insert the stake 6 inches into the ground.
4. Plug the yard stake into
a 3-conductor GFCI protected outlet.
5. Plug the lights or appliances into the timer. Leave the appliance in the “ONposition.
To Program:
Rotate the dial on the timer to select one of the following settings:
OFF (always off)
ON (always on)
DUSK-DAWN (On at dusk, off at dawn)
2, 4, 6, or 8 HRS (On at dusk for 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours)
NOTE: Position your yard stake away from other light sources
If your yard stake with built in timer is too close to other light sources or if the photocell is facing a light source such
as a porch light or streetlight, the photocell may turn off the fixture outside of the timed settings.
If this happens, relocate the yard stake or eliminate those other light sources.
If your lights co
ntrolled with this item cycle on and off continually, reposition the yard stake away from all light
sources.

seasonal decorative lighting products having a total of 12 Ampere maximum. Do not install or use this produ

If using Christmas tree or decorative lighting products that are not marked with an ampere rating, connect no more
than140 screw-base lamps (C7 or C9) or 12 strings with midget (push-in) lamps to this cord set. Cord sets shall be
plugged into a GFCI-protected receptacle.
If using an outdoor-use cord set for an extended period of time, (greater than 90 days), please consider hard wiring
as
a permanent outdoor-use receptacle rated for year-round use in the area that power is needed. Please contact a licensed
electrician for proper installation of permanent wiring. After completion of installation, the connector shall remain a
minimum of 6 inches above ground.
