Your saw has a positive O° bevel stop, that has been
factory adjusted to assure 0° angle of your saw blade
when making 90 ° cuts. However, misalignment can
occur during shipping.

Unplug your saw.

Place your saw in an upside down position on
workbench. See Figure 19.
Using a carpenter's square, check squareness of
saw blade to the base of your saw.

A length of cut scale has been provided on the base
of your saw. It is parallel with the sew blade and can
be used to measure the distance into material the
blade has cut. NOTE: Six inches is the maximum
length of cut that can be measured. Also, it is
accurate only when the depth of cut is set at fun
maximum depth.
