Golden curried potatoes
(serves 3)

Ingredients
500g peeled potatoes
1 onion, finely diced
10gbutter
1 – 2tbsp curry powder
250ml vegetable stock (instant)
50ml double cream
125g peas (frozen)
Salt and pepper
Method
Coarsely dice the potatoes (approx.
3x3cm) or use small potatoes. Mix
together all the ingredients in a suitably
large dish. Cover and cook. Stir when
the audible tone sounds then continue
cooking.

Fish curry(serves4)
Total time required: 35– 45minutes

Ingredients
300g pineapple chunks
1 red pepper
1 small banana
500g firm white fish
3tbsp lemon juice
30g butter
100ml white wine
100ml pineapple juice
Salt, sugar and chilli powder
2 tbsp cornflour
Method
Dice the fish and place in a suitable
container. Drizzle with lemon juice.
Quarter the peppers, remove the seeds
and pith, and cut into narrow strips.
Peel and slice the banana. Add to the
fish together with the pepper and
pineapple pieces and mix well. Add the
butter. Mix together the wine, juice,
seasoning and cornflour to make a
smooth sauce and pour over the fish.
Mix everything thoroughly, then cover
and cook.
