andfood.Heightcanbeadjustedwithoutcompleteremovalof
theshelf.

1. CheckthatOKappearsclearlyontheindicatorlight(see
diagram).
2. Iftheword“OK”doesnotappearitmeansthatthetemperature
istoohigh:adjusttheREFRIGERATOROPERATIONknobtoa
higherposition(colder)andwaitapproximately10hoursuntil
thetemperaturehasbeenstabilised.
3. Checktheindicatorlightagain:ifnecessary,readjustit
followingtheinitialprocess.Iflargequantitiesoffoodhave
beenaddedoriftherefrigeratordoorhasbeenopened
frequently,itisnormalfortheindicatornottoshowOK.
Waitatleast10hoursbeforeadjustingtheREFRIGERATOR
OPERATIONknobtoahighersetting.

andcrisp.Openthehumidityregulator(positionB)ifyouwantto
storefoodinalesshumidenvironmentlikevegetable,orcloseit
(positionA)tostorefoodinamorehumidenvironmentlikefruit.

ICE DEVICE*
Afterpouringwaterinthespecialicecups,placethemintheir
placesintheicedevice.Afterabout2hours,theicecubeswill
beready.Inordertogettheicecubes,itwillbesufficienttoturn
thetwobuttonstotheright.Theicecubeswillfallintothetray
below,readytobeused.

Food Care Zone *
Areadedicatedtothestorageoffreshfood,suchasmeatand
fish.Thankstothelowtemperatureinsidethecompartment,the
FoodCareZoneextendstheperiodoftimeforwhichthefood
canbestored,keepingitfreshforuptoaweek.
“FOOD CARE ZONE 0°C”/ Safe Defrost*:
Inthe“FOODCAREZONE0°C”compartmenttherearelower
temperaturesthaninthefridge.Temperaturescangobelow
0°C.Thiscompartmentistheidealspottostoremeatandfish.
Youcanalsostoremilk,dairyproducts,freshpasta,cooked
foodorleftovers.
Thiscompartmentisalsosuitabletodefrostfoodsinahealthy
way,becausethedefrostingprocessatlowtemperatures
inhibitsthemicroorganismsproliferation.
Thiscompartmentisnotsuitableforvegetables,saladand
salads.The0°Ccanbeobtainedinnormalconditionsand
whenthefridgecompartmentissetto4°andthefreezerisset
to-18°C.Whenyoudecreasethefridgetemperatureyoualso
decreasethetemperatureofthe“FOODCAREZONE0°C”
compartment.
Using the freezer to its full potential
• Adjustthetemperatureusingthedisplay.
• Donotre-freezefoodthatisdefrostingorthathasalready
beendefrosted.Thesefoodsmustbecookedandeaten
(within24hours).
• Freshfoodthatneedstobefrozenmustnotcomeinto
contactwithfoodthathasalreadybeendefrosted.Fresh
foodmustbestoredinthetopFREEZERandSTORAGE
compartmentwherethetemperaturedropsbelow-18°Cand
guaranteesrapidfreezing.
• Tofreezefreshfoodinthebestandsafestwaypossible,
activatetheQUICKFREEZEfunction24hoursbefore
placingthefoodinthefreezer.Afterplacingthefood
inside,activatetheQUICKFREEZEfunctionagain;itwillbe
deactivatedautomaticallyafter48hours;
• Donotplaceglassbottleswhichcontainliquids,andwhich
arecorkedorhermeticallysealedinthefreezerbecausethey
couldbreak.
• Themaximumquantityoffoodthatmaybefrozendailyis
indicatedontheplatecontainingthetechnicalproperties
locatedonthebottomleftsideoftherefrigeratorcompartment
(forexample:Kg/24h:4).
• Inordertoobtainagreateramountofspaceinthefreezer
compartment,youmayremovethebins(exceptthelowest
binandthespecialCOOLCAREZONEbin,whichhasan
adjustabletemperature)andplacethefooddirectlyontothe
evaporatorplates.
!Iftheroomtemperaturedropsbelow14°Cforanextended
periodoftime,theidealtemperaturewillnotbereachedinthe
freezercompartmentandfoodpreservationwillbereduced.
!Donotopenthedoorduringfreezing.
!Ifthereisapowercutormalfunction,donotopenthefreezer
door.Thiswillhelpmaintainthetemperatureinsidethefreezer,
ensuringthatfoodsareconservedforatleast9-14hours.
