ProperUseof Detergent
Use only detergent specifically made tot use in

your detergent fl'esh and (h'_: Don't put powder
detergent into the dispenser until you're ready to
_st_ dishes.
The amount of detergent to use depends on
whether your water is hard or soft. With hard water;
you need extra detergent. _&]th soti water; you
need less detergent.
Promct your dishes and dishwasher by contacting
your water department and asking how hard umr
wamr is. Twelve or more grains is extremely hard
wam_:A water softener is recommended. _4'ithout
it, lime can build up in the water \:five, which could
stick while open and cause flooding. Too nluch
detergent with sott _ter can cause a pemmnent
