When to Replace the Filter
There is a replacement indicator light fin"
tile water filter cartridge on tile disl/ensel;
This light will turn Ol'ange to tell you that
w)u need to replace the filter soon.
Tile filter cartridge shotfld be lvl)laced
when the replacement indicator light turns
red or if the flow of water to the dispenser
o1" icel/lnkel" (_lecl'e_lSeS.
Installing the Filter Cartridge
O If you are re )lacino tile cartridge, tiI_t
remox, e tile old one b) slowl) tm'ning
it to tile left. Do not pull d(m'n on tile
cartridge. A small amotmt of water may
drip down.
Fill tile replacement cartridge with
water fi'om tile tap to alh)w for better
flow fl'om tile dispenser immediately
after installation.

top of the new cartridge up inside
tile holder; Do not push it up into
the holder;
Slowly tm'n it to tile right tmtil tile filter
cartridge stops. DO NOTOVERTIGHTEN.

Cartridge will retain about 1/4 turn.

Filter Bypass Plug
Y()u must use tile filter bypass plug
when a replacement filter cartridge is not
available. Tile dispenser and tile icemaker
will not operate without tile filter or filter
byl)ass plug.
