Water container
Risk to health and risk of dam-
age due to contaminated water.
The water quality must conform to
the requirements for drinking water in
the country in which the refrigeration
appliance is being installed.
Only use cold, fresh drinking water to
fill the water container.
Risk of damage due to incorrect
operation.
Liquids containing sugar, such as
soft drinks, fruit juice and syrup or
concentrate diluted with water, can
damage the water container pump
and the ice cube maker.
Hot or boiling water can damage the
water container.
Only use cold, fresh drinking water to
fill the water container.
Risk to health due to contamin-
ated water.
Bacteria can develop in water which
has been sitting in the water con-
tainer or the water supply lines for
several days. This poses a risk to
your health.
Change the water in the water con-
tainer every day.
You should also always empty and
refill it before switching on the ice
cube maker to ensure that the ice
cubes are made with fresh water.
Clean the water container and fill it
with fresh drinking water if the refri-
geration appliance or the refrigerator
section has been switched off for an
extended period of time (more than
48hours).
The water container in the refrigerator
section supplies the ice cube maker in
the freezer section with water.
You can also use the cooled water in
the water container at any time.
The water container holds approx.
1litre of water.
Clean the water container before
switching off the ice cube maker for an
extended period of time. Dry the water
container carefully.
