NOTE:
When your wafe
maker is heated for
the rst time, it may
emit slight smoke or
odor. This is normal
and does not affect
the safety of your
appliance. However, it
may affect the avor of
the rst set of wafes
prepared in your wafe
maker, and it is
recommended to
discard these.
Oil helps protect the
nonstick quality of the
cooking surfaces.
Do not use metal
utensils, as they may
scratch and damage
the cooking surfaces.
HOW TO USE
1. Place the Flip Wafe Maker on a at, level and dry surface
near an electrical outlet.
4. Preheat the appliance by closing the lid and plugging into
an electrical outlet. Both red and green indicator light will
illuminate, signaling that the unit is heating up.
4. Prepare your ingredients while the appliance is
preheating.
5. When the green indicator light shuts off the unit is ready
to cook.
6. Raise the lid using the handle. Use an oven mitt or pot
holder to prevent accidental burns.
7. Spray the upper and lower cooking surfaces with a non-
stick cooking spray or lightly coat with a small amount of
vegetable oil.
8. Carefully pour batter into the center of the lower cooking
surface. The amount of wafe batter needed may vary
based on the recipe or brand of batter mix used. Do not
allow the batter to overow.
9. Close the lid using the handle and allow to cook.
NOTE: Cooking time will vary based on the recipe or
brand of batter mix used.
10. Once wafe is cooked to your preference (usually about 2
minutes), carefully ip the wafe maker using the handle,
and cook the other side of wafe to your preference
(about another 2 minutes).
11. Once wafe is cooked thoroughly, remove the wafe using
a heat-resistant nylon, silicone or wooden cooking utensil.
12. If cooking more than one batch in a session, be sure to
lower the lid in between batches to maintain the proper
cooking temperature.
13. As soon as you are nished cooking, unplug appliance and
