Changing a bulb
Bulbs should be replaced with bulbs of
the same type:

Alternatively, the following bulbs can be
used:

These bulbs have a different luminosity.
Only use bulbs of the same type in the
cooker hood.
These bulbs are available from Miele or
from dealers.
Switch off the fan and the lighting.
Remove the grease filters.
Disconnect the cooker hood from the
mains power supply (see “Warnings
and safety notes”).
The bulbs can get very hot when
in use.
Allow the bulbs to cool down for a
few minutes before changing them.
Loosen the bulb’s securing screw a
little.
Slide the screw and the bulb
downwards.
Then tighten the screw again.
Turn the bulb anticlockwise and pull it
out.
Screw the new bulb into the socket.
Please follow the manufacturer’s
instructions.
Loosen the screw slightly again, push
the bulb up and tighten the screw.
Refit the grease filters.
