7. Installation
1. Fix the mounting bracket to the ceiling. Please ensure that the round space “O” is facing front.
NOTE: Mounting bracket should be secured to the timber frame in the ceiling.
2. Attach aluminium exi duct to the outlet on the rangehood and screw the four corner pieces to
the outlet box. Make sure that the ange on the end of the corner piece is facing the correct
direction. To regulate the height of the Island rangehood adjust the four corner pieces that
attach to the outlet box.
3. Slide the two ue covers over the four corner pieces and outlet box.
4. Attach the corner pieces to the mounting bracket and feed aluminium exi duct into the roof
with the motor and main power cable. Pull the internal ue up and attach it to the roof mounting
plate.
5. Connect the rangehood base and 9-pin connector to the outlet box, before xing to the outlet box
with the screws provided.
6. Install lters once the rangehood has been properly fastened.
7. Connect the female plug to the motor and male plug to main power.
Island Mount Installation
NOTE: Please make sure that lters are removed and put in a safe place while installing rangehood to
prevent damage.
NOTE: Please make sure that all plastic protection on the rangehood and lters is removed before use.
