3.5 How to start cooking
When the power is on, a beep sounds once; all indicators light for 1 second. Now
the appliance has entered the stand-by mode.
1. Touch the ON/OFF sensor. All indicators display
.
2. Place a cookware on the desired cooking zone. Always
keep the bottom of the cookware as well as the cooking
zone clean and dry.
3. Adjust the power level of the respective cooking zone
using the relevant or -sensors.
4. If you have not selected a power level within 1 minute, the appliance is switched
off automatically. In such a case you have to start at step 1 again.
5. You can vary the power level at any time during cooking.
3.5.1 Activation of the double/triple cooking zone (flexible cooking zones)
1. Touch sensors 6 or 7 to activate one of the flexible
cooking zones. The relevant cooking zone 2 or 3 (s. fig.
Chapter 3.1.1 COOKING ZONES) must already be in
operation.
2. Touch sensors 6 or 7 again to deactivate the relevant
flexible cooking zone.

Normal operating condition: The light intensity of the centre heating
circuit of the multiple zone is lower than the intensity of the inner and
outer ones. This is no cause for concern and does not influence the heating
capacity of the appliance.
