4.7 Creating a Searchable PDF File
PaperAir Manager allows you to save your scanned images in PDF or searchable PDF file
format. With the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) engine which supports over a
hundred of languages, your electronic documents can be searched and managed more
effectively.
To save your images in searchable PDF file format,
1. On the main window, click
on the upper-right corner. This will prompt the
[Options] dialog box.
2. Choose [PDF] from the [File Format] option and click [OK] to save the
settings and leave the dialog box.
3. Click the [Settings] tab and then choose your desired language from the [OCR
Language] option.
4. Click the [Scan] button on the main window.
5. In a few seconds, a full-text searchable PDF file will be created.
