Exterior
To clean the control panel, use a lightly danq)ened cloth, then dry thoroughly: To clean the
exterior painted panels, use a good appliance polish wax.
Never use sharp objects, scom'ing pads or harsh cleaners on any part of the Chef's _asher.

Interior
The stainless steel tub can be cleaned with Stainless Steel Magic, or a similar I)r°duct using,
a clean, soft cloth.

If yore" Chef's Washer is left in an unheated place dm'ing the winter; ask a service technician to:
1. Cut off electrical power to the Chef's Washer. Remove fuses or trip circuit breaker.
2. Turn off the water supply and disconnect the water inlet line fl'om the water wdve.
3. Drain water fl'om the water inlet line and water wdve. (Use a pan to catch the water.)
4. Reconnect the water inlet line to the water wdve.
5, Remove the filters fl'om the tub bottom and use a sponge to soak up water.
The Air

An air gall protects your Chef's \,\_sl_e_"against
_:_ter backing up into it if a drain clogs. The air
gall is not a part of the Chet's Washer It is not
covered by yore" warrant)'. Not all plumbing
codes reqtlire air galls , so y()/i Illay not have one.
The air gap is easy to clean.
1. Turn off tile Chef's X_asher and litt off the
chroI//e cover.
2. Unscrew the plastic cap and clean with
a toothpick.
