Safety Instructions and
Warnings for the Automatic Ice
Maker
• Theicemakerisdesignedexclusivelytomakeice
cubes in quantities needed by a household.
• Allrepairsandworkontheicemakermayonlybe
done by customer service personnel or other appro-
priately trained personnel.
• Do not consume or use the first three batches
of ice. This applies both to using the appliance
for the first time and also using it after it has not
been used for a long period of time.
• Theicemakerisinthetopleftdrawerinthefreezer
compartment of the combined refrigerator-freezer. The
ice maker can only make ice cubes if the drawer is
completely closed.
• Theicemakerwillonlymakeicecubesifthefreezer
compartment is operating.
Turning the Ice Maker On and
Off
To turn the ice maker on
• TouchtheIceMaker icon so the IceMakerLED
comes on.
To turn the ice maker off
If you do not need any ice cubes, the ice maker can be
turned off independently of the freezer compartment.
• TouchtheIceMakericonsotheIceMakerLEDgoes
out.

3. Reinsert the water tank
and slide into the holder
as far as it will go.
Filling the Water Tank
WARNING!
Fill with potable water only.
Please use filtered, decarbonized drinking water only to
fill the water tank. Water of this quality can be obtained
using a table water filter such as those available in spe-
cialist shops.
By using a table water filter, you will obtain drinking
water which tastes better for trouble-free ice cube pro-
duction.
IMPORTANT
Do not fill with any kind of alcoholic drinks or sug-
ary liquids. This will damage the ice maker.
2. Remove cover and fill tank with
water.
IMPORTANT
If the water tank has not been slid right to the
back, no ice cubes will be produced.
1. Pull out the water tank
forwards.
