POWER (ON/OFF) BUTTON
Pressto turn the dryer ON. Pressagain to turn the
dryer OFF. Pressing the POWER button during a cycle

CYCLE BUTTONS
PresstheCYCLE buttonsrepeatedlytoscrollthrough
the cycle selections untU the desired cycle is selected.
The standard presets for the selected cycle will be
shown in the display. On MANUAL DRY cycles, these
settings can be adjusted using the cycle setting
buttonsanytime before starting the cycle.
O START/PAUSE BUTTON
Pressthis button to START the seJected cycle, if the
dryer is running, use this button to PAUSE the cycJe
without losing the current settings.
NOTE: Ifthe dryer has been stopped formore than
four minutes, the dryer will turn off automatically
and all settings will be lost.
0 PTION BUTTONS
These buttons allow you to seaect cycJe options.
Some of the option buttons have secondary
functions. The controls can be locked or unJocked by
pressing and holding the SAVE ENERGY+ button for
three seconds.
CYCLE MODIFIER BUTTONS
Use these buttons to adjust the settings for the
seJected cycle. The settings light up above the
buttons to show the current selection. The default
temperature setting cannot be changed in AUTO
DRY cyc!es. AUTO DRY cycles are modified using
the Dry LeveJbutton.
NOTE: To protect your fabrics, not oH settings are
allowe:J in all cycles.

TiME AND STATUS DISPLAY
The displayshows the estimated time remaining for
auto cycles and actual time for timed cycles. The
status of the cycle is also displayed. The CHECK
VENT indicator will illuminate if there is a serious
restriction in the exhaust system.
MORE TIME/LESS TIME BUTTONS
Use these buttons with the TIMED DRY and other
MANUAL DRY cycles to adjust the drying time. Press
the MORE TIME button to increase the selected
manual cycle time by one minute; press LESST_ME
to decrease the cycle time by one minute.
CHECK VENT INDICATOR
(DUCT BLOCKAGE SENSING SYSTEM)
The CHECK VENT duct blockage sensing system
detects and alerls you to blockages in the ductwork
that reduce exhaust flow from the dryer. This light
does notindicate any problems with your dryer.
rf this light blinks_ it indicates that your home's
exhaust system has a serious restricfion_ which is not
covered by your dryer's warranty. There are services
available for cleaning/maintaining the external
venting. Sears provides this service via Sears Carpet,
UphoJstery, and Duct Cleaning. Call 1-800-661-6594
to schedule duct cleaning service from Sears (if it is
available in your area).
STEAM REFRESHCYCLE
The STEAM REFRESH cycleusesthe power of steam
to quickly reduce wrinkles and odor in fabrics.
It also refreshes wrinkled clothes that have been
stored for an extended period of time, and it can
make heavily wrinkled clothes easier to iron. STEAM
REFRESHcan also be used to help reduce odors in
fabrics.
