Storage
When not using the appliance for an extended period of time, disconnect the
connector of the power adapter A12 from the socket and the power adapter A12
from the power socket, allow the appliance to cool down and clean it according to
the instruction above.
Before storing it, check that the appliance and all its accessories are thoroughly
clean and dry, and that there is no water in the water tank A3.
Store the appliance in a dry, clean and well-ventilated location not exposed to
extreme temperatures and out of children'sreach.
Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
The humidifier is
not generating
steam.
Disconnect and reconnect the power adapter A12.
Apower outage occurred. Wait until power is restored and the
humidifier will turn on automatically.
Check that the water tank A3 is properly seated on the base
unit A10.
The surface of the ultrasound disc A5 is dirty. Remove the dirt
and soils according to the instructions in section "Cleaning the
ultrasound disc".
Air is flowing out of
the steam outlet,
but steam is not
generated.
There is too much water in the water tank A3. Pour out the
excess water.
Remains of cleaning agents, etc. remained in the water tank A3.
Clean out the water tank A3.
The surface of the ultrasound disc A5 is dirty. Remove the dirt
and soils according to the instructions in section "Cleaning the
ultrasound disc".
The water is too hard, use water that is softer or use distilled
water.
The humidity in
the room is low.
The surface of the ultrasound disc A5 is dirty. Remove the dirt
and soils according to the instructions in section "Cleaning the
ultrasound disc".
The water in the water tank A3 is too cold. Use clean but not
ice cold water.
The ultrasound disc A5 is damaged. Contact an authorised
service centre.
The steam has an
unpleasant odour.
You are cleaning the water tank A3 incorrectly or the water is
dirty. Clean out the water tank A3 using clean cold water.
Awhite dust
is forming on
furniture in the
vicinity of the
humidifier.
These are limescale deposits from hard water that escaped
while the humidifier was running. Use softer or distilled water.
The illumination
A8 is turned off.
Select an operating mode in which the illumination A8 is
turned on.
Button A9 is lit red. There is asmall amount of water in the water tank A3. Fill up
the water tank A3.
It is not possible to
seat the tank A3 on
the base unit A10.
It is only possible to seat the water tank A3 in one direction.
Rotate the water tank A3 by 180 ° and try seating it again.
Athin layer of
red or pink dirt
is forming on
or around the
ultrasound disc A5.
Remove the dirt and soils according to the instructions in
section "Cleaning the ultrasound disc".
Clean the humidifier more regularly.
Note:
In the event that the above do not describe your problem or if any of the
describe problems persist, turn off the humidifier and stop using it. The
humidifier does not contain any parts that the user can repair themselves.
Contact an authorised service centre.
